General Discussion / Re: Coindesk Poll - Most Influential

It's a broken poll. No resistance to Sybil attacks and targeted marketing. Vanity elections yield vanity results.

I wasn't trying to make a statement when I posted the poll, I'm just looking for small marketing opportunities that are easy to perform to add to the massive push on Nullstreet.  Takes a few seconds, if people choose to opt out that's fine.

If we could get a few dedicated UK sellers, we could get the ball moving quickly for bitUSD.

Do we believe this is something we could execute and maintain?

https://bittylicious.com/

"Provides a peer-to-peer platform for individuals to buy, sell or trade bitcoin and 11 altcoins such as dogecoin, litecoin and feathercoins. Payments can be made via SEPA bank transfer or Visa/MasterCard, provided the card is 3D Secure enabled"

I like Bittylicious, and would be pleased to see BitShares stuff on there.

The wiki says:

A deposit of the equivalent of £200 (in BTC) which is refundable in the following ways:

50% if the first month's sales is greater than £5,000
50% if the first three months' sales is greater than £20,000

I'm not willing to be a seller, but I may well contribute a small amount towards the 'sales'.

Bittylicious is very convenient for anyone in the UK, because they accept 'faster payments', which are effectively instant and free transactions made from one's online banking account.

P.S. 'Bittylicious' isn't spelled correctly in the OP title

Make a proxy delegate for them. They can get paid while they are showing progress on getting us integrated and have a supplement for any volume they don't have. A kind individual can spot the initial $300 cost. + $1000 or so for the delegate itself...

I'm also a big fan of the 1 min videos

These make it real easy to open the conversation, I've already seen success with it.   10-15 short videos would make me happy.  :)

Don't do Open Bizzar, we are going to have our own marketplace built into BTS and could use your help implementing that.

I disagree.  Do open bazaar and then do the internal marketplace.

Terrific work. Thanks, man.
No need to thank me I am just taking the opportunity to earn cheap BTS while I can... Its the community that is to be thanked.. The more focused we are at our jobs(what we are good at) and helping others the more satisfaction we will all see be it financial or just being involved in something that makes the world better...

Have you thought about running a delegate?

I was pushing for 100% delegate. Between the plug-ins and availability to work with OpenBazaar, it should be more than enough.

General Discussion / Re: Marketing forum invite?
« on: December 04, 2014, 06:21:55 pm »
I heard that there is a marketing forum (nulllstreet.com) for people who are interested in helping the marketing team. How do I get an invite to be apart of the forum?

I would love to help the marketing team during my free time.

Great job, but I am also surprised to know that the previous marketing team didn't do that? or they did but just no results?

Anyway, looking forward to the feedback from those companies. +5% +5% +5%

2 great leads already posted on Nullstreet.  I'm sure the marketing team has reached out to some of the companies, I've developed a comprehensive list with a friendly hello to assist. I'm just the list guy, the real work will happen with the guys making the calls.

Yes i guess so. So pls talk to Brian before contacting these companies... so we don't contact them twice etc....
Great Work.... Go for it  +5%

The initial emails go out from an enthusiast
I don't follow-up with the leads, I send them to Brian, Michael and Max from marketing/business development with introductions
Responses continue to come in, posting to Nullstreet
Updated log of contact and reply dates
Thank you for the +5% :)
