Marketplace / BTS/Nubits/BitUSD guide?

So I'm still pretty new to the cryptocurrency world in general, but I've been sitting on my BTSX (now BTS) for some time now, and I've been curious about using the market pegged Nubits or BitUSD to make some small $ from the small BTS price fluctuations (at least before BTS blows up

). Does anyone have any tips or a guide to best utilize the market pegs, or am I stupid as hell for considering this?

Still learning as much as I can about Bitshares X and the crypto community as a whole, so I have a few questions:

-How exactly is BitUSD and BTSX related?
-Can someone explain the market peg situation with BitUSD?
-Is there any particular synergistic advantage to owning both BitUSD with BTSX?

I'm a noob with the cryptocurrencies, but experienced enough to understand the implications of Bitassets. I hope it blows up like we all predict!
