I agree that MPV is the number one priority.

When we'll have it out there, as amazing as we picture it in our dreams (no pressure BM ;) ), then privacy and micro payments seems to me like one of the next obvious steps.

I'm far from beeing a smart blockchain mastermind, I really don't know how complexe it is to implement these features. I'm just giving my thoughts ;)

That beeing said, I like to imagine myself paying for my coffee with BitEUR ...

I didn't completely understand how margin calls worked when I short two months ago. I didn't realise that I only have one month to make profits. As I'm here for three long run, I shorted big thinking I will cover in months or years. Then I've been forced to cover loosing a big chunck of my bts.

It's entirely my fault to not be more informed. I'm not a trader and all of it it's a bit confusding.

I would be more than happy to short again but I fear no having understand everything I need before do it again. 
I also need to read more about the transition of shorts in bts 2.0.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here for the long run and still having all my bankroll in bts. That's not making sense.

There is probably a lot of person in the same position as I am.

Maybe if someone with a good understanding could make a post with a simple and complete explanation on why/how to short. The risks and what will happenned in the transition to 2.0, ... That could potentially make a big difference !

I'm agree that it's not the time to go viral. The product is not ready for that can lead to a reverse effect and makes us bad publicity.

I don't think Ken is aiming that.

Here is a quick list of what he achieved lately. I don't see anything he has done that have not its place in our "waiting phase" before the release of 2.0.

Helping Ronny at CCEDK
Develop more features for the Nanocard such as Branding, Affiliateships, Cash back rewards and merchant (stores, restaurants, etc) discounts.
He's bringing whales.
Tweet like crazy about BitShares and related companies like CCEDK
Bring in businesses like ZappTales
As a PR Agent, he bring more media to Stan such as Bitcoins and Gravy, Cointelegraph articles, etc.
Working on the BitShares POS project which will bring millions in transaction fees.
Crypto Coaching services via BitShares Munich brand
Youtube channel
G+ pages
Working on the DAC Wizard project which allows businesses to quickly and easily setup a DAC on BitShares 2.0 tech.
Create more google food thru videos, links, social posts, video subtitling, etc.
Working on the BitShares Munich Expo (aligning speakers, partners and sponsors now).
Help newbies in the tech support threads.
Faucet newbies as well
He translated a LOT of content in different languages. When 2.0 launched, anybody without a good level of english won't understand a thing about BitShares, languages are primordial.

Maybe it's delegate project would be better received if he could describe a road map on what he will be working until the release ? Focusing on all the things that can be done in a symbiotic way with our "waiting the 2.0 phase".

If I'm not mistaken the delegates voted right now (and before) will be split between witnesses and paid workers, not delegate anymore.. So if we vote him delegate, it's just like giving him a paid worker with some anticipation.

If he is not bringing enough to the community, his paid worker position will decrease in the ranks and be out of the the paid ones. Problem solved.

A lot of the projects in this community are waiting to have the referral program in place with the 2.0 to start the engine. Meanwhile we can't wait doing nothing right ? Well, guess who is working for free nervertheless ... you got it !

Vote Kencode !

Goooooooooooooooooood morning BitShares !

A fresh coffee in my left hand, the mouse in my right, the summer spanish sun painting my living room in warm colours ... it would have been a perfect morning if ...

... we didn't loose the rank we won yesterday, we are back to #123. That's sad  :-[

BUT that's not a big deal, these are just some hesitations before the big wake up ! When the community will realise that we have a person working hard for BitShares, investing time and money to add more value to the whole project, more value to YOUR bitshares, then votes are going to flow like crazy.

Untill then, I will be here remembering every body that IMHO it's a fail we have as a smart community to have this guy off the 100 delagates.


PS:  constructive criticism or personal opinion on why has he still not been elected are very welcome

Right now he is just asking for some funds from the delegate to work better.  :-[

He has already committed a lot of time and money out of his passion for BitShares and this community. I can't see how he could become a bad actor in this community.

He will be delagate for a couple of months until the 2.0. He will be able to use the money for bounties and all the things he do. Then he will have the delegate split to witness and paid worker corresponding. The delegate of the 2.0 is different of the current one and your concern about him staying delegate forever against the will of the community (very unlikely) won't be a possibility.

Come on, let's give the man some credit for all he did to move this project forward !

He's obviously not the only one and a lot of you guys have done amazing things but he is one the most undervalued.

If he really disapoint the communuty after beeing voted, beeing a pain in the ass o whatever, I commit myself to create the very same post but to downgrade him in the delagate list. To #99 back to #123 !  ;D

That beeing said, Donkeypong, you comment is apreciated and will help to understand better why is he still out of the 100 delegates.
Any constructive criticism is very welcome !!!

I won't be able to attend the mumble session, if anything important comes out, please post it here to get the rest of us informed  ;D

He is doing a lot for this community and he is very motivated !!!

It's our role as a smart community to identify our valuable assets. KenCode is one of them.

He did a lot of good quality work for BitShares and he's keeping it up !

What do we want ? Demotivate him ? That what's gonna happen if he keep working like crazy without having the gratitude of the community expressed through a delegate position !

So, let's do it community ! Let's vote Kencode in !
He's at the #123 position as I'm writting this, let's move him up !

I will keep is rank update in the title of this thread untill he's at very less #99.

You guys can  +5% this post once a day so it stay in the newest posts and we get him in the place in a few days.
