The forum is busy and moves fast. It's a full time job keeping up on all the posts and big events can get buried in threads that you may have otherwise not read or stopped following. Post up your tips for how you stay abreast of the goings on with BitSharesX and I'll add them to the list.
1) Create a shortcut to go to a list of Bytemaster's posts. You can scan it quickly and any event of importance will be written by or commented on by him: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?action=profile;area=showposts;u=5 (https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?action=profile;area=showposts;u=5)
2) Create a shortcut that goes directly to the Bank & Exchanges sub forum https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?board=3.0 (https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?board=3.0)

Every forum should have a CRITICAL ANNOUNCEMENTS sub-forum that is pinned and that can only be posted to by the I3/Bitshares crew.

Click notify on important (locked) update threads so you receive an email when these are updated.
Quit job and spend all waking hours clicking 'Show unread posts since last visit' 8)
this works for me but I'm sure there's a better way.

This should all be built into the client. People who don't use the forum should have information feeds.
