hey
I guess you have all hear about omisego
their product is indeed not existing, but it will get launched in Q4 2017
from my understanding, it will also include a decentralized exchange, but with trust less gateways
what are your thoughts on this ?

I haven't heard about, but don't think it could be a worthy competitor for Bitcoin

why so ? please explain yourself .

The first question I have is about their scaling since they're using Ethereum. Another question I have is if they are going to implement pegged currencies, because that's what makes this DEX a lot better than some others. By the look of things, they've raised more than the market cap of Bitshares.

It is surprising why nobody made this on ethereum yet?

on eth trx costs are so high that the total cost for price feed transactions is going to be huge.

a transaction on ethereum cost about 4cent USD
this is really tiny
are you lying or is there a misunderstanding ?

yes please read yourself this reddit thread and not only the title
I think your mind is biased and thus your thinking is worthless

Even 4 cents can add up to pretty high number when posting price feeds for many assets frequently.
-
even 4 cents is a very high number for price feeds. and you will have to wait e few minutes for your transaction to be accepted by a miner. And that means settlement price will be lagging behind the real price.
Or think about this the other way around: If it was feasible someone would already have done it.

How other oracles on ETH go around this (augur etc)?
