@iHashFury I'd buy MKR @100 :)

Why does no one want to use the DEX? How are we supposed to get anyone else to use it??  :-\

There are standing orders for BROWNIE.PTS on the DEX @ 5BTS/BROWNIE.PTS. Why not just list them?

I do not think it will build on a 32bit OS.

Thread resurrection ..

Is the Yunbi market making still active? Have you made any profits? I am asking because I recovered
one of my older wallets and came across some CFSUSDA. Can exchange them into bitUSD?

Sure. Can you send it to riverhead.cryptohedge? I'll send you bitUSD in return.
I find that I have some CFSUSDA as well.. Can I send it to riverhead.cryptohedge so that I can get bitUSD?

Yup. Send me a PM if you do not what your bitUSD sent to the account that sends the CFSUSDA.

I have gotten my seed node up and running on 45.55.13.98:1776

Took me awhile to get it working with my script that restarts it in case of low witness participation or a crash.  Was totally a stupid error on my part.  It is now up and running.

Ah, I see the issue. I was running an API server and not a seed node. Fixed.

I just tried the --p2p-endpoint flag and my Muse client stopped working. Went back to the old command line and it started working again. Hmm.

Code: [Select]
riverhead@rivernode:~/github/muse/programs/witness_node$ ./witness_node -s 54.165.143.33:5197 --replay-blockchain  --rpc-endpoint 185.82.203.92:8090

It is running on 8090. Are you still having issues with it? I have my Muse client pointed to it without issue.

Great work Cob! Keep it up! The crypto crowd will find something to kvetch about no matter what you do so just keep on keeping on :). I am exited to see this all unfold and which artists will be the brave pioneers of a new business model.

My condolences to you Eddie, and your family. I lost my father while on a business trip and it really does turn your world upside down.

Yeah look at how many projects Ethereum has racked against how many bitshares has.  Ethereum has a higher rate of project growth than Bitshares.  Your competing over entreprenurs.  And so far most of the entreprenurs are flocking to Ethereum.

Eth attracts lots of devs cause it's a total sandbox but not so many devs with business plans.  We can pull more talent once we begin to show the money.

Right now any mainstream eyes on Crypto benefits the whole ecosystem.

Think of how Bitshares is governed by voting for witnesses, committee members, worker proposals. Now what if you wanted to ipo on the dex but needed the ability for voting shares for the same reasons? Mostly picking a board of directors and/or voting on their proposals.

Almost all publicly traded companies have voting and non voting shares, sometimes referred to as class A and class B shares.

UIA voting opens the dex to a whole new class of companies.
