Ok thanks it's actually working now!

seems many guys have the same error messages, I google it, seems openssl cause the problem, http://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html
Hi Empirical1, try install the openssl 1.0.1h binaeries from the website, see if it help.
I know giveaways are not allowed. What about competitions?
Good question. I'm pretty sure they're ok with that. I think giveaways just end up with 40 page threads of "me too". Go look at the delegate who is offering to airdrop or whatever back to bit*talk.org. That is what they want to avoid. Contests though we could do AFAIK.
Cool. I was thinking I might try an X meme competition or a when will BTSX pass PPC & DRK competition. Any other ideas?
Yea, it basically comes down to memes. We can ask for themed memes. There are also youtube videos/audio.
You could make a wallet and have people try to guess how much is in the wallet. ROFL The closest guess in a week wins !!! Then pay it out and give out the key for anyone to verify. Seems like a giveaway.. but to be perfectly honest, it is a competition.
Lets see... Trivia ? "Name the first development environment and platform used by Dan Larimer" (Not that Dan wishes to be involved..) We can't use googleable stuff.
Is anyone else having their withdraw transactions cancelled with the error message "cancelled:BTSX account is not registered or memo is too long"? I didn't add a memo and my account is registered (same name as forum handle). It is especially odd because I was able to successfully send BTSX to my wallet yesterday. I've already submitted a ticket about this on BTER.Yes, me too! Is Bter on a fork!?

here windows 7 64 bit everything is fine. maybe something you installed. i set up a windows machine exlusive for crypto with nothing extra installed.
I would hate to hear there were insufficient funds because I have a lot more to withdraw!
Cynical Economy Threat: People will vote for delegates and slates that pay the most for individual votes (not via burn that appreciates everyone, but directly).I'm not too concerned about that. I know miners vote for Ghash.io for example, even to the point it threatens Bitcoin, but now that the people with the power are the shareholders, I don't think we'll see the same results.
Anyone want to walk me through this? I don't understand it, le why
1) Every delegate may optionally specify a slate ID as part of their public data. This slate ID identifies up to 101 delegates supported by that delegate.
2) Every user can select one or more delegates to approve of
3) The wallet will automatically combine the public slates of the delegates that user approves of to produce their votes.
What is the nature of the latest crash?
This is probably not the answer your asking for but when you try open it, the splash/main screen appears up for a few seconds then crashes/says it has stopped working.
Wish we were able to reproduce it here... are there any logs in your app data dir?
Like Delulu I am most concerned about the Cynical Economy Threat: People will vote for delegates and slates that pay the most for individual votes (not via burn that appreciates everyone, but directly).
