Title: Sending BTS to unclaimed 0.9.x blockchain account ?
Post by: karnal on October 14, 2015, 11:18:22 am
If someone wants to send BTS to an account that was already registered in the 0.9.x blockchain (send BTS on the 2.0 chain), will it automagically work, or is it necessary to 'claim' the account on 2.0 by importing the keys first?

Funds can be send to registered accounts at any time .. maybe just verify that the active_key is the same as in bitshares 0.9 .. but it really should be ..

If it matters, it was a titan_account in 0.9.x.

Speaking of titan, it is not around anymore on 2.0, right? iirc there's baked in support for confidential transactions, but not on the gui yet.

Do you know of any good documentation that explains the situation?
I assume that certain operations like for instance trading in the dex will necessarily be privacy breaking?
