BitShares PTS / Re: [ANN] PTS.1GH.COM - GPU mining
« on: January 13, 2014, 09:33:49 pm »
thx

the original bat file did not mention a password?

pts-miner.exe (wallet address)
pause

can you please put an example

not seeing a single share either on the pool... because I have no password?
(but I have shares on the memory mining pool, without a password)

thx!!!

I see, will try now. thx.

I find 3 separate instances makes the pc unusable. 2 instances seems to get less than 1 instances... but still testing...

fyi - I am getting about 2350 cpm with 3 x 7950's.
not sure if that's good or bad.

any api access, or way to monitor GPU temperatures?

how long to register shares on the mining pool? not seeing anything beyond my cpm yet.

thx!

They should be doing about 1000 Cpm each at least mine is, you also should have 3 instancies of the miner running one for each card.
You see shares when we actually find a block, wich doesn´t append very frequently but in the end pays out at least up to now i think it pays.

You need to create more pts-miner.bat files to run with the several Gpu´s and edit them so each one of them runs with one card, after you put your payment adress and password you set 0-0 in one file 0-1 in the other and 0-3.
I hope you were able to understand, sometimes explaining something in another languague gets kind of hard.

Technical Support / Re: How to backup and restore Protoshares-qt wallet?
« on: January 13, 2014, 06:51:33 pm »
I created a simple bat file in windows, then I upload an encrypted copy to several cloud storage\external drives.
A program called 'duplicati' auto encrypts, backup and then sync's to your preferred cloud storage (drive, dropbox etc.)

haha, read the bottom of the page, losers gonna lose ...

Look at this page: http://mrx.im/pts.php

It has the PTS difficulty estimation and also a calculator.

Do you know how it works? I would love to!

is it possible that the blockchain is just taking a very long time to load - can you put the blockchain on a external hard drive (launch client with '-datadir=(external drive and folder)'

I am also still working through the many different aspects. I think some are excellent others I am not sure.
But the direction and fresh ideas and something to actually 'back' a cryptocoin' seem to be plenty here. That is an important factor in my opinion.

good to know.

I'm hoping for a solution that could print out a wallet for any cryptocoin - with the proper logo's and so on.
actually even a windows wallet\client to manage all crypto's too.

Here is one by xeroc:

Another online paper wallet generator is under development.
Stay warm~

Great incentive I must admit.
These are the kind of innovations that make Invictus a leader. But I suppose most here already know that :)

General Discussion / hello and paper wallet question
« on: January 09, 2014, 06:34:14 pm »
hi there from the frozen north! Liking Invictus and the various projects. i have a question if anyone can assist, after searching for a method to store my PTS wallet offline, I would like to generate a paper wallet, I seem to only find bitcoin paper wallets and artwork. Does PTS have any solution to print a PTS branded physical paper wallet?
