Title: The Alexanria project needs help from your community
Post by: -banano- on February 05, 2016, 07:33:11 am
I told them that you guys have the best UIA's in town, but these guys want to create a UIA that allows proposal voting.

If your UIA's can offer them that, then they will have no choice but to crowdfund right here

Could somebody let them know if this is possible, because, frankly, I'm not sure that your UIA's allow stakeholder consensus voting on issues (like BTS does). Becaus if your UIA does not allow voting, the they might have to fork BTS so they can have this feature.

Someone with more knowledge on the subject, please chime in, because these guys are getting pretty close to prime time:

on it.  thanks for the tip.  here is one from me  :)
#sharebits "-banano-" 5 COPPERTICKET
#sharebits "-banano-" 50 BTS

oh and there are two ways i can see it going:
1) sharedrop "voting" tokens on holders of your UIA and then have those users who receive them vote by sending to an account for each choice the users get.  whichever account has the most tokens is the option voted for.  its a bit complex imho though.
2)followmyvote codebase is opensource too.  though not entirely certain about what it enables us to do other than having privacy when voting kl(which is huge on the blockchain).

This^^

They are going to have stake-voting .. that means that you can use any asset and cast a vote that is counted relative to the stake you have in that asset.
They should certainly reach out to Adam (@ak) from FollowMyVote and/or Nathan (@modprobe)

I don't think BlockTech will ever consider anything related to Bitshares. It's a waste of time.

We at FollowMyVote would love to chat with them about creating a solution on BitShares that meets their needs. Does anyone have a contact there? Or can introduce us?
