Welcome to the community t3476,
I worked as quant for years and I found bitshares interesting.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is a "qant"?
It's a short name for the people who trade with Quantitative Finance.
For more details:
http://arxiv.org/archive/q-finHow far is it from raising trustless funds on bitshares network? What I mean trustless is let bitshares network decides whether deposits or withdrawls is legal and verifies my track record, I decides only how to trade.
You might want to familiarize yourself with market pegged assets and user-issued assets.
https://bitshares.org/technology/price-stable-cryptocurrencies/
https://bitshares.org/technology/user-issued-asset/
The first can achieve a "stable" price, while the seconds allows to move back into the "legal" framework by means of IOUs (issued by gateways that have to perform KYC/AML...)
User issued assets can have so called whitelists such that only those costumers that comply can hold/trade that particular IOU/token ..
Thanks for informations. I'm not sure whether User-issued Assets is what I expected. In contrast to KYC and Asset Seizing, I want to start a unseizable, anonymous and trustless funds which they can withdrawl and leave at any time without worrying that I or courts will seize the funds. but they still have to trust my trading skills which can be observed by track records, which I hope it can be verified in bitshares network. It's obvious that Price-Stable Cryptocurrencies isn't my choice.
