99.9% of the time with a solid slate of delegates and a block that we received "on time" you never have ANY forks.

The misspelling is only on this list, the registered domains are spelled correctly.

I have many new domains to add, I will update the list soon!

It would be cool if they used DPOS and honored the social consensus. We'd all be billionaires.

KeyID / Re: TLD suggestions for Agent86's model.

Why not make new TLDs createable if there is enough demand? It could have a system where anyone can start a new TLD for free (as long as it doesn't interfere with any reserved words, like existing TLDs and large company names) and if enough people put money down for names under this TLD, then it is created and shareholders turn a profit. The best new TLDs will naturally pick up steam, as others will want a slice of that pie. Every name would be sold as an auction, so early 'squatters' of that TLD would just get outbid.

If .p2p (or .own or .dac or anything else) is desirable, the market will speak for itself.

Stakeholder Proposals / New website: Delegate.bid
« on: July 24, 2014, 01:40:06 pm »
Dear delegates and developers,

I would like to start a project developing a website that connects campaigning delegates with stakeholders looking to cast their votes. I have acquired the domain Delegate.bid for this purpose. The idea is that to see anyone's delegate bid, you would simply visit:

xeroc.delegate.bid
liondani.delegate.bid
spartako.delegate.bid
daslab.delegate.bid
etc...

If you are interested in helping with this project, PM me and we can set up a meeting. In the meantime, anyone can use this thread to brainstorm ideas of what features you would like to see from this website.

Wouldn't "DAC Agents" be more appropriate, akin to your name? :P

General Discussion / Re: List of BitAssets to pre-register
« on: July 08, 2014, 02:13:46 am »
If a minimum market depth of 5% of all BTSX (200,000) is required for trading, this raises a few concerns for me.

This sets a hard cap on the number of BitAssets are trading at a given moment at 20. And, this is could only be achieved if all BTSX were used in trading (no-one holding BTSX) and were exactly evenly distributed among those 20 markets. The realistic cap is probably much lower.

In fact, I don't even know if 5% of all BTSX will ever be committed for trade in any single BitAsset. I think it's possible that 99% of all BTSX will remain as BTSX.

5% is a lot. A more realistic percentage would be prone to market manipulation... what's the solution?

2) BitShares XT will be 50/50 with no dilution for delegate pay.

What does this mean, exactly?

So, my OSX client auto-locked, and I missed my block as a delegate. That needs to be fixed.

When I leave the client idle, it gives me a warning that I'm going to be logged out if I don't click it in X seconds. Does this mean I'll stop producing blocks if I leave my computer on inactive?
