Bitshares a part from all this, allows you to register, distribute / (buy and sell) any asset. This can be anything stock in your company, property , etc. This includes internet currency like bitUSD etc.

IMHO, one big selling point of a DEX is the *global order book*, hence:

Basically yes. Here is why:

* Real need for alternative stores of value tend to come from failing economies
* If you live in a failing economy, you will surely have been searching for alternative stores of value
* The first thing you will find is bitcoin (then look in horror at the volatility, cue bitshares)

There are, of course, tertiary needs, such as overcoming visa's transaction fees for merchants, or using an exchange with no counter party risk, but by and large when you try to talk to people who don't know about bitcoin, you'll have a hard time talking to them about bitshares.

I guess if you want something very simple the best description I  heard about what is bitusd was  from someone in here (I think Toast not sure) bitusd is a usd in the internet so essentially bitshares is the way someone can obtain this new form of "internet" usd

Please suggest pitch describing Bitshares as Financial concept


Based on my speaker slot at the GMTS2015, thread is here https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,18025.0.html and the need in general for a strong way to introduce to the public and all the traders investing in the stock market  on Wall Street as well as domestic stock markets, Denmark is my favourite(mind you this section called investing is where my Forbes contact has his his biggest interest), I would appreciate a great pitch to throw in for an initial discussion whereever I might be in the future.

One of the ideas with a pitch like this is to get the Danish CEO of SAXObank Lars Sejer Christensen with headoffice in Denmark http://uk.saxomarkets.com/ in Denmark interested in having some sort of connection with the financial network of Bitshares through his Investment Bank SAXOBank - Saxo offers trading through its online platform SaxoTrader in Forex, stocks, CFDs, futures, funds, bonds and futures spreads. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saxo_Bank

To me it seems a great possibility if I am able to catch his interest as a potential partner to his own business finding ways to combine the strengtss of Saxo with the strength of Bitshares 2.0. He is already involved in bitcoins, so the interest is there already for the crypto currency, untill now he has hesitated to coennct more deeply into this with his own, but I think Bitshares has what he might be needing as that last incentive to enter.
