We are at #5 in CMC now!!  $14.3m market cap at 2447! Think we might break 2500 by tomorrow.

Do you think Bitcoin getting declared a commodity by the fed has anything to do with it?

2500's already been shredded bro, may even take down 2600!

General Discussion / Re: Oct 13th: Predicting BTS Price At 2.0 "LIFTOFF"
« on: September 18, 2015, 03:04:02 pm »
Too much fantasizing about the future price right now it seems. :P

I've seen both sides -- conservative-minded folks saying the price will probably top out at $15 million, and dreamers looking forward to $150 million. Logic would therefore dictate the correct answer is -- $70 million.

Yeah, I waited 4 days for coinbase. But it shouldnt take 9.

Is the problem that you arent verified or something?  I know that there is a low dollar limit when you havent been registered for a full month + verified or something like that.   It prevented me from buying a bunch of bitcoins over $500 when I wanted to, so then I bought them at 460.  Which was good, except that it kept going down. :P

Yeah man. Had to apply for a higher limit and wait on approval

I was only at 10k usd per day. I am trying to get raised to 100k daily limit.

You are kind of hard to believe, but it's more exciting to think you're being honest here...

So, I'ma believe you. For the jollies.  ;D

General Discussion / Re: Test Net for Advanced Users
« on: September 16, 2015, 05:40:51 pm »
We are preparing a new test network that will be a dry-run for the actual BTS 2.0 launch process.   This means the following:

1. It will have 3 second blocks
2. It will have 1 real computer per witness (but we will control all initial witnesses)
3. There will only be 11 initial witnesses, and we will VOTE in more
4.  We will have 1 hour maintenance intervals, this should increase reindexing time by a factor 12
5.  We will have lower transfer fees for testing purposes
6.  We will be producing price feeds for bitassets
7.  We will be producing a Mac / Windows GUI distribution
8. There will be a new genesis file from a recent snapshot.

The GUI distributions will be available next week.  This week we are focusing on our infrastructure.

Before we can launch this test network we are putting in some scheduled minor hard-forking changes that have built up over the past several weeks of the last test network.

Our goal for this network is to pretend it is the real launch and to have it go as smoothly as possible.

See now that's cool.  Here's hoping for a smooth launch. +5%

I'm seeing a lot of predictions in the 15 - 20 million range...that isn't a whole lot for something as pump-worthy as BTS 2.0 finally releasing. So basically you guys are thinking the best we can do is a 100% gain tops? I'd be surprised if that's all we get...but then again most of my BTS purchases were done in like the $40 million range and back when BTC was like $500, so maybe my views are skewed/outdated.  :P

Where do you guys see the price in one months time?
Lets get some predictions going for fun

I'd say about $0.04-$0.05 cents

Sure but I doubt in one month it will hit that. It takes a while for volume to reach that.

If Bitshares could get the volume it could get to over $1 but the issue is there is a limited amount of people who have money to buy crypto tokens and until the crypto community grows you're fighting for a small pie.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of ETH money flow into BTS. The money's gotta go somewhere, and ETH's been pretty flat lately.

I'm sure most of you already agree, but don't lose sight of the big picture.  We are still very very undervalued.  Don't sell too early.

Hodling 'til $10 club reporting in.
