Title: a small request - an exit button.
Post by: merockstar on August 26, 2014, 01:11:04 am
could we get an exit button that exits the application (not minimizes to the tray but actually exits) built somewhere into the gui (not the menus)?

bringing up system monitor and force closing it can't be good, and I know I can't be the only one who gets this bug where the menus dont show up anymore after being minimized to the tray.

EDIT: although now that I look more closlier, ctrl+q may suffice. gonna try that out soon.

You're not the only one, I mentioned this earlier in a different bug report:
https://github.com/BitShares/qt_wallet/issues/19

but perhaps we should open another bug (feel free to report this there)

CTRL-Q is supposed to work if the menu's disappear.

the error you're getting looks quite a bit more jacked up than mine.

with mine, I just lose my menu, everything else (except the position of the tray icon) works just fine.

your screen looks like it's been moved over or something?

UPDATE: ctrl-Q doesn't do it when the menu is disappearded.
