Since the first version of BTS wallet, half a year passed. No substantial progress about BTS.
Get a new idea everyday and never realize it. One beautiful bubble after one beautiful bubble.
The two most important things wallet stability and market promotion still the same as 6 month ago.
No light wallet, if someone want to use BTS wallet, must have a computer with high-performance. spend too much time for synchronization.
The compatibility of wallet never makes a progress. hard to use in windows 32 version.
For promotion, much more worse. It is the era of internet. spend too much time off-line is useless.
The Chinese community has a media bts.hk,
has three big markets (btc38,bter,yunbi),
has an exchange platform (tradebts),
has a bet platform (http://btsgame.org/),
has a superlab (BitSuperLab),
has a bts robots to active the inside trading (https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=12286.0)
has a e-shop using bts asserts "yunduo", http://www.yunaigou.com/
Especially, we have more than 100 active weibo accounts which talk about and promote BTS everyday.
I want to know except bubbles and bubbles, what really thing the English community has done
No media records the news and progress
No English market for BTS (polo and bittrex is not a market), BTC-E, bitstamp is a market
No news and topic at bitcointalk
No twitter promotion

The western has done a lot of great work so far , esp. on development . From what I've seen a lot of progress are coming out on the development front .
Maybe your disappointment should specifically towards the "official marketing effort" .

I've recently submitted 7 leads to marketing interviews/articles
I've submitted leads for on/offramp which already looks promising from phone and in-person meetings with Max and Michael.

Bitcointalk is an alt sewer. With Max's Bitshares.tv, we'll have an option of posting in the main Bitcoin threads
No excuses, we have SOOO much work to do. With that being said, Nullstreet has been working their butts off to make it happen. We love the efforts of the Chinese marketing and look forward to bring our level up to the same quality.

Since Brian resigned, I think marketing will be back on track.

Bytemaster has started a blog and ready to do interviews weekly.

Yes and the wallet has improved immensely. I'm happy they've slowed down adding features and hope they make it as stable as possible. I used to not find the wallet very usable while now it is quite stable. Not as stable as software that has matured for years, but it is a huge improvement over the early days. The developers should be given credit.

Yes and the wallet has improved immensely. I'm happy they've slowed down adding features and hope they make it as stable as possible. I used to not find the wallet very usable while now it is quite stable. Not as stable as software that has matured for years, but it is a huge improvement over the overly days. The developers should be given credit.

Without a product, all the marketing in the world is worthless. I think we should be a bit more patient and once we feel that average Joe would be comfortable using our software we can talk about marketing.
Most of us here don't care when the client crashes a few times and we have to recover funds etc. Avg. Joe would be freaking out and most likely never touch our product again.
