Yes, and Charles and I even discussed hosting an experimental DAC on each other's platforms just so folks would have a comparable reference architecture for each. No commitments yet, but we did talk talk about it briefly in Miami.
If we did, people could evaluate the merits of:
Hosting many businesses on one heavy-weight generic chain - at the cost of mining fees.
vs.
Hosting each business on its own light-weight optimized chain - free from mining costs.
Both approaches implement their business logic using a Turing-complete programming language. (Ours is C++.) The difference is whether dependence on strong mining power pushes you toward "one chain to rule them all" or whether you are free to distribute all earnings to your shareholders instead.
