I definitely don't want someone to squat "mf-tzo" as key ID.

Since I was a founder "mf-tzo" appears in BTSX as a standby delegate with 0% approval. So is this sufficient not to get squatted by someone else if I choose "zeus" as key ID?

I am sorry to be a pain...I think I am making this a bigger issue than it should be...In any case let me think this through for 1 day...

Thanks again!

General Discussion / Re: Keyhotee Founders Claim your BTSX

Hi Stan,

I have not received any BTSX yet. I have sent an email to info@bitshares.org a couple of days ago.

Should I get worried or not? I understand you are very busy and there is no rush, just want to make sure that my email was received.

Thanks

Thank you very much for your replies! really appreciate this just another question...

I guess it makes sense to use as a key ID "zeus" since everyone in here know me under that name and not under my founder ID.

But if I choose that, can someone else squat "mf-tzo" (my founder ID) as a Key ID? If that is the case this will create even more confusion and it would make sense to keep my kehotee ID "mf-tzo" as keyID...

I am curious as to what will toast is going to do since he is in a similar situation like me. Although everyone knows him as Nikolai as well...

Hi,

I am a bit confused...again...

My forum name "zeus" has been squatted in Bitshares X and I am not sure whether I want/can  use this name anymore as a key ID. Should I?

My kehotee founder ID "mf-tzo" has been partly abused "mf" and "tzo" in bitshares X.

Ideally I would like to choose as a Key ID my family name instead of my kehotee ID. Can I do this without everyone in here knows my family name?

Is Kehotee dead and will not be used anymore?

In very short what is the purpose of the Key ID? I have read but the information to handle just gets bigger and bigger... Will other people know my Key ID?

Thank you very much in advance!

I have mentioned in another post the need for indexes. If as an industry we could create indexes that measure performance of surfers, payroll of artists, home prices, unemployment rates, indexes in whatever you can think, we can then create DACs that give p2p loans repayable depending on the index performances.

for example we have an index for surfers performance worldwide. A surfer gets a p2p loan. If the worldwide surfer index is performing well then our surfer will need to repay the full loan. In this way he can pursue his dreams and if he is good enough to keep up with the index he could repay the loan. If the surfer index doesn't perform well, our surfer will not have to pay the full loan since it was beyond his capabilities.

What I describe requires unbelievable data handling and I am sure is not that easy. Shiller describes something similar in the "new financial order" and if this could happen with the use of the technology it would be amazing!!!

if you send from bter to a potential delegate standby name you need to do something in the console so the blockchain rescans...Ask Liondani to advise he has helped me a lot with that..I don't remember what I did though...

did you sent it to an account registered as potential delegate standby? If yes you need to go through some commands in order for the blockchain to rescan.. you have to do something on the console that doesn't block the transaction something like wallet_delegate.... true i think...

Liondani advised me how to do this and I don't remember as my technical skills are really bad but now it worked...

someone else can help you with this...sorry...

You have the txid of the bter tx? Yes
are you synced with the network? Yes
Can you create a new wallet import you key/founder and recheck? No idea what that means and how its done... :(...please explain...

I have done all that. My name is registered. I have submitted a ticket and will see how it goes...
The ID was 130 characters so I don't think that this appear on the blockchain of Bitshares X

thanks anyway

I get an error message wallet_list_accounts assert exception (10). I notice that my kehotee ID some times appear on top of my accounts, and then it disappear from my account list.

Anyone knows something about this?

Also I made a small withdrawal from bter last night, the transaction seem to be cleared from BTER but has not been credited to my account.

thanks in advancea

I made a small withdrawal of 8 BTSX from BTER last night but I still can't see it credited on my account.

The payment appears to be processed and I have a transaction number from them.

Should I contact them or this is a known problem?

Is there a BTSX explorer I can check the transaction ID number like in bitcoinblockchain?
