For those of you who thought voting was confusing in 1.0, I hope this new UI will make it much easier to understand how you are voting.

Looks awesome!

Any chance you could put the proxy/witness/committee into columns?

Will be much scrolling...

I like the look. However, is there a help menu or a mouse-over pop up that could give a brief explanation to assist new users?

Nice slick look though, i like it.  +5%

For those of you who thought voting was confusing in 1.0...

What is a proxy account (Is it like nominating someone to vote with your stake?)
What do committee members do?
And I thought Witnesses were voted in not added...

Confused...

We are planning to add helpful hints in the future.

Committee Members are "Delegates" they vote on proposed changes to blockchain protocol.

You are adding them to your ballot.

If there is a lot of scrolling involved and the column thing is considered, I think tabs with the same actual display would better than column.

Never do tabs or columns if you want it to be functional on mobile. Best to collapse the three sections. Have them fade into small arrows; auto collapse one section when user opens another.

Excellent I like the proxy voting at the top, this will prevent apathy voting. Will it be a list of recommend public proxy voters? And how many voters they represent?

Thanks BM.
I think this is an important point from an ease of use perspective. Some sort of mouse-over pop up would be good because people are not always going to refer back to a wiki.

Tabs would be better, and it gives each section the most real estate, so there's flexibility in layout, font size options and for future feature expansion.  I don't believe there's a compelling reason to visualize all of those items simultaneoulsly.

I think it looks sweet. If tabs are used, just make sure they are prominent enough so that a user does not easily miss something. In other words, if it's buried, maybe they won't vote on it (not what we want).

I fully agree. The tabs need to be obvious (i.e. large) and labeled clearly. Tabs are quite common in many UIs these days so it shouldn't be difficult to set them apart and visually render them in an intuitive way. There are plenty of examples out there for tabbed interfaces. Firefox comes to mind (I don't personally like how they're shown in MS Internet Explorer or their new "Edge" browser either; they are going back to the flat 2D look & feel).
