Yeah, one product's success can not guarantee the success of another product. Rovio developed 36 fail games, before they developed Angry Bird.

I think it's hard to find buyers when there's not yet a working product. I think this is similar situation to BTSX. When BTSX's market pegging started to work, the price of BTSX went up 500% in a short time.

KeyID / Delegate set up guide?

Is the process of setting up a KeyID delegate similar or different from running a BTSX delegate?

KeyID / Re: Why is a lot of the delegates 1% or 0% pay?
« on: October 07, 2014, 03:42:25 pm »
It's using the inflation model for delegate pay, so you can't compare it to the % payrate of BTSX. Last I checked, 1% was equivalent to about 10 DNS per block.

What about 0%? the delegate earns nothing?

When I go to delegates tab, I see majority of delegates at at 1% or 0% pay, what's the reason for this?

KeyID / My ID is already registered in genesis?
« on: October 07, 2014, 02:00:50 am »
So I was trying to register my id "kokojie", and saw it was already registered. So I thought someone took it already, then I check the directory, and saw the id "kokojie" was registered in "genesis"? what does this mean?

BitShares PTS / Re: Synchronizing to network on OSX Yosemite
« on: October 06, 2014, 06:24:34 pm »
I recently bought a few PTS on Bter. I transferred my PTS to my wallet before realizing it was out of sync. It currently says it is synchronizing to the network. It has progressed a little. My question is will it sync completely with Yosemite and if it does will I recover my PTS or are they lost?

As long as you own the private key to your address, they can not possibly be lost. You just have to find working nodes to sync from.

BitShares PTS / Re: PTS jump?!?!??
« on: October 05, 2014, 09:47:16 pm »
Actually the USD value haven't jumped much at all, I remember PTS marketcap was around $6 million about 2 months ago. Still around $6m today. It's the exchange rate vs Bitcoin that has jumped, probably due to Bitcoin's USD value declining.

Now it's telling me "ImportError: No module named 'numpy'", but I already done "apt-get install python-numpy python-scipy"

I believe the launch of "doge party" might also helped it a bit, at least it reduced the amount of outstanding coins.

How do you stop a person making large bets and good moves for side A, and then in the late game, make a single big bet and very bad move for side B, and cause side B to lose the game?
