DAC PLAY / Re: Please vote for PLAY delegate.ihashfury
« on: October 11, 2015, 04:04:18 am »
Over 70% of the delegates are Init delegates on PLAYDAC so I think would be beneficial if more independent decentralised delegates are voted back in.

During the time I was in the top 101, I maintained a 99.35% up time while generating over 9k blocks.

My delegate is up-to-date and ready to produce blocks and I have a seed node on 109.73.172.144:1776

Thanks for your support

 +5%

I would like to second that.  Ihashfury has proven himself to be a very good delegate.  He should be voted back in to help secure the network.  Having this many init witnesses this long after launch does not look good.

 +5% . iHashFury is no noob and has proven himself.

I have doubled my amount of notes that i purchased last year during the auction crowdsale over the last months.

You and me both. Here's hoping it was a good play :).

I have faith in Cob because of what I've seen in the various posts and panel discussions where he's gone toe to toe with others in the space. I have faith in Eddie because he came up through the ranks and has managed to keep his hat in the ring by thinking way outside the box. I don't have a lot of exposure to the other members of the team.

At this point faith is all it is because, as Cob said earlier, the music industry is fucking nuts complicated.

Export your wallet on Oct 12th and you'll likely never have to fire up the BTS client again.

?

i am serious... i have the feeling that it will be almost worthless, because no one will need notes to do business in muse.

I am serious too. Once the snapshot is taken BTS, NOTE, and anything else on the 0.9.x chain will be worthless. There may be a brief period where the chain stays alive due to some delegates continuing to run 0.9.x but unless an exchange supports the legacy pair they can't be sold.

Importing the keys you exported on the 12th to Graphene and Muse respectively is your only option.

Therefore you will likely never have to open your BTS [0.9.x] client again after exporting your keys. No attitude intended.

So @bytemaster, what else needs to be done for the price feed script to qualify for the bounty?

I think you have qualified.

Grats Xeroc! :)

Im unable to create witness any help would be appreciated.
Code: [Select]
create_witness xeldal "" true
10 assert_exception: Assert Exception
it != _keys.end():
    {}
    th_a  wallet.cpp:604 get_private_key

    {"owner_account":"xeldal","broadcast":true}
    th_a  wallet.cpp:1378 create_witness

Use dump_private_keys to make sure your wallet has them. May have to import them again.

General Discussion / Re: October 1st Testnet for Advanced Users

So in an effort to figure out why I am unable to vote in more than 11 witnesses right now I discovered that the current vote counting algorithm has all balances voting for the NUMBER of witnesses which means if you import a balance but do not vote, then you are voting by default for 11 witnesses.

I made a small change that will ignore accounts that vote for 0 or 1 witnesses for the purpose of voting on the desired number of witnesses.

The HARDFORK will take effect at block 10000.

Someone has imported almost 190M BTS and is voting for no one.

Is this a new commit or included in the current one?

Updated to latest commit.

I had to update_witness with the public key from the config file. It used a different one when creating the witness.

riverhead and xeldal are you having problems?   You have been voted in but are not producing any blocks.

my witness node is running without any immediately obvious issues.  Not sure yet why its not producing blocks.

Config file had witness_id from test3 chain. All good now.
