I had all my PTS and BTSX in my wallet. I never got to import my PTS wallet into the new DNS wallet. Does that mean I missed getting any BTS for those DNS?
Nop.. you will get airdropped onto those too!!

Thank you so much. Tha'ts good to hear. :)

Thank you. Those are the DAC's I thought. Somehow I missed the LottoShares snapshot and subsequent release notifications but I had control of my PTS so I'm ok now. Correct me if I'm wrong but the MMC 2.0 snapshot was late Dec 2013? I had my PTS @ Cryptsy and thus have no stake.

I need a list of all DAC's that snapshots of PTS have been taken since the snapshot for BTSX. I have had all my PTS in my own wallet since the BTSX snapshot and need to know all the DAC's im entitled to and their status. I would like to check all of my balances.

VOILA!

Thank you so much.

I came across the following:   https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=5194.0   BUT I don't understand any of that either.

The issue for MOVING the Bitshares XT wallet from Mac to Windows
« on: June 21, 2014, 05:09:49 PM »

I used "wallet_export_to_json /Users/xx/bts" to export the current wallet to a JSON file on my Mac,
and then I copy this JSON file to D:/ on my Windows PC. Then I used "wallet_create_from_json D:/bts xxx" on XT client on my Windows7 PC, but it showed me "command aborted". Someone can tell me what's wrong?

File an issue with the entire error message: https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares_toolkit/issues

I believe you need to wrap the path in double quotes when executing the command.  You may also try to execute the command without any arguments and allow it to prompt you for each one, thereby identifying which parameter produces the abort.

I did file an issue on github.

None of that made any sense to me sorry.

"When the file is copied and you fire up the PTS wallet on your Windows machine it'll look exactly like on the Mac."

Copying the wallet.dat file to my pc doesnt do anything whatsoever to my PTS wallet and how could it? Its just a file sitting on my desktop.

There is nowhere to import anything to my PTS wallet on my pc. The only option is to Export a wallet.

"If it's the case your wallet.dat file on your Windows machine is live and in use..."

What wallet.dat file on my windows pc?(The one i created and haven't backed up or exported or the one i copied from the Mac thats sitting on my desktop? I'm assuming you mean the one i created on my pc but then How else could that file be anything but live?

"1) Export all the private keys to import them on the other computer"

How is that done as the only option I see on the Mac is to Backup a wallet?

"2) Send the coins via the network to the other wallet."

Wouldn't sending just the coins to the wallet on my pc give me just the coins and NOT the ability to import the original wallet.dat file to the new VOTE and DNS DAC wallets once they are created?

I appreciate you trying to help but you answered a different question than I asked. I didn't make myself clear enough. I need to get my PTS and my wallet file from my PTS wallet on a Mac to my PTS wallet on my Windows pc so that I can control my PTS as the Mac is not my computer. Importing my PTS wallet on the MAc to my BTSX wallet was a snap. There is no way to import a wallet file with the current PTS wallet GUI. Again i need to control my PTS on my Windows pc as the MAc is not mine and now I'm really worried about about their security.

My PTS are in a Mac wallet on a Mac(not mine). How do I get them into my Windows wallet on my Windows  PC? I'm going to import the PTS wallet to my BTSX wallet and I want everything on my Windows PC.

Thank you. I'm always a bit amazed and how polite, enthusiastic and quick to respond that bitshares members are. I only wish I had had more money to invest in PTS when I did the end of last year.

BitShares PTS / MOVING PTS BETWEEN NEW DAC SHARE WALLETS
« on: August 22, 2014, 12:43:50 pm »
I have yet to move my PTS to the new BTSX wallet to claim my BTSX. I have a few questions about moving my PTS around.

1 - After I move my PTS to the new BTSX wallet, do I need to move my PTS back to my PTS wallet and then move my PTS to the new VOTE and DNS wallets when they come out?
OR
Can I move my PTS from my new BTSX wallet to the new VOTE wallet and from there to the new DNS wallet?

I'm assuming I have to move my PTS back and forth between each new DAC shares wallet and my PTS wallet. If so there ought be someone working on streamlining this process.

2 - Suppose I leave all my PTS in my PTS wallet and can't access them for a year or longer. Will I always be able to transfer them to each and every new DAC shares wallet to collect my new DAC shares?

Again, I'm assuming that yes I can as long as each new DAC is "operational".

Thank you but I'm confused.

1 - Why wouldn't you or anyone import their PTS wallet into a new BTSX wallet? The object is to have control of BTSX AND PTS. Then send your PTS back to the original PTS wallet and have 2 wallets. 1 for PTS and 1 for BTSX.

2 - You're waiting for what to get to a 300 Million market cap? PTS, BTSX, both combined?

BitShares PTS / SNAPSHOT QUESTIONS

Please bear with me as I have extremely limited access to a computer. (Please don't ask why)

I had someone move my PTS to a wallet they created for me before the Feb snapshot. I have yet to move them to the new BTSX wallet.
I need to know a few things as tomorrow I will have access to that wallet.

1 - Do I install the new BTSX wallet, send my PTS to it to get my BTSX and then send my PTS back to the old wallet after the snapshot today?

2 - Is that the process for getting each new DAC shares? (Keep PTS in PTS wallet until snapshot, move to new DAC wallet to collect new DAC shares; move PTS back to PTS wallet awaiting new DAC snapshot).

3 - Is the BTSX/PTS roughly: PTS * 1.28 * 500?
