Could you get a bit more specific please? What should be developed in your opinion, etc.
I won't pretend i know what should be developed in BitShares because i don't.

I can't figure out how you can add value to the community being a Worker without coding new feature.
I though you may be able to add value to the community by becoming a Headhunter for BitShares, bringing valuable new people in the community.
But it's hard not to fall on the marketing side  ???
Ask yourself, if I were a whale, what would i like 38PTSWarrior to do for the community before I vote him in?
Whales don't like to talk. You must try and read their mind  :-X

I can't think of anything useful for now but I wish you best luck  ;)

Beyond Bitcoin [closed] / Re: Brownie distribution
« on: August 17, 2015, 12:16:17 pm »
I can set up a form page on bb.org where people can fill in their  forum user id ( eg. u=602).
And it will get the bts id and mumble username fields (we have to ask a forum admin to add this one) and adds it to a database.
After that the mumble host or admin can press a button when the hangout is running and a script will check whos online and will save it.
After the hangout is over a host/admin can click on a payout button and it will send out the brownies.
A page would be available on bb.org that shows the past hangouts including the users who were there and if the brownies are sent out.

So at the end a host/admin only has to click two buttons (once during the hangout and once after the hangout) to handle the whole thing.
I remember in LTB that in order to prove participation, on their interviews at some point there was a "magic" word mentioned. they could fill then that "magic" word and they proved that way that they indeed listened..
I think those ideas are awesome  +5%

The "delegate", soon the paid worker, will focus more on adding value to the system with the implementation of new features.

If you're not the coding type guy, you will need to be quite original in your proposal to be voted.

One way you may add value to BTS holder:
Looking for devs (JS, C++, React, CoffeeScript, Ruby, ...) interested in working for a blockchain (around a campus or university you should find some).

Getting new valuable member in the community is never a waste of time ;)

General Discussion / Re: Science of Persuasion [ALL SHOULD WATCH]

I encourage all who are interested in forming the best possible community for Bitshares to look at what worked for other communities, in all other cultures, and also beware of what doesn't work. Plenty of anthropology and psychology science reveals what works.
Very nice  +5%

Hi Be.destbest,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm pleased to say we are currently working with CCEDK on integration. You should see charting, trade history and realtime orderbook for CCEDK by week's end.

Best,
William

Hi Be.destbest,

CCEDK charting and data are now available on Coinigy.  We are discussing with them the possibility of doing balance tracking and order management.  If this is something you'd like to see added, I'd encourage you to reach out to them and ask them about adding it.

Thanks,
Rob

I still don't understand something...  :-\

In this case, what are the requirements the new server should have ?
Currently a 9$/mo VPS can run the full node .. hopefully in future it won't :)

What kind of hosting do we need in order to be ready for the 2.0 web wallet?  ???

Congratulation kenCode!  :)

Go!

Finding a list of strong analogy to explain the big picture of "What is BitShares?" might be the best way to get your message delivered in the shortest amount of time  IMO

We are producing tutorials with my team right now and we already have something decent for the "installing the client and registering an account"
It's in french but we can make you an english one quickly and upload it so you can use it after or during your presentation if you need it.

If you need, our team can help   ;D
