xeroc asked witnesses to chime in on this conversation, but majority did not. Friday is coming up and I would like to know what is the final consensus? Are we sticking with the current feed prices on BitUSD, BSIP42 or a modified BSIP42?  Starting tomorrow I will start feeding my BitUSD prices in accordance with an outcome from this conversation.

I will be short:

I started to feed BSIP42 on BitUSD mostly because majority of witnesses started to do the same. Few hours ago in the witness chat Bitcrab told everyone that they will start removing votes for witnesses that do not support BSIP42 starting with spring-team, but in reality their votes do not match the BSIP42 BitUSD witnesses.

My personal stand: I am AGAINST BSIP42 on BitUSD clearly puts BitUSD holders at an disadvantage and effectively wipes out their ability to convert their BitUSD to BTS and a true face value. BitUSD creators have their call price always ABOVE the current market price (black swan if they don't sell?)

My stand as a witness: On Friday I will go with whatever the community decides. But for now since spring-team already removed a vote from my witness, I will remove BSIP42 from BitUSD and support xeroc's stand.

$500 for Hertz implementation and $250 for Hero implementation sound tempting? It needs to be pegged to BTS:USD settlement rate (not BTS:CNY).

BitCNY offset is at 5% because bitcrab is the largest proxy and witnesses do what he wants or he will pressure them and other proxies.

We do, my Dallas node is at 86% with all the price swings in last 48hrs and the foundation notes are in maintenance through 18 Jan (saw the note on steemit somwhere). So atm for US nodes you can use:

I have read through this and I agree. I have adjusted accordingly and sped up the price publishing to every 20 minutes. (This is of course the complete opposite of what bitcrab was asking for BitCNY).

No. What are the requirements around this, i.e. are non commercial feeds from the crypto world an adequate start ?
My plan is to set up an ZAR (South African Rand) asset and feed in the coming months.
It is very unlikely that you will get on the active list until you have your price feeds up. Better get on it!

I have adjusted my price feeds and will monitor to make sure the feeds are within small margin of error.

I always try to get the right sources for the price feeds, I will do some manual calculations with weighted averages for volume and will adjust as required.
