Title: 25+ unique witnesses, now we just need 25+ proxies with similar voting power.

I would like to thank everyone who has joined in to become a witness and secure the BitShares network.

There are currently 27 unique witnesses excluding the init witnesses which will soon be phased out.   These 27 individuals have worked long and hard to help test and deploy BitShares 2.0 this week. 

The BitShares network is the most decentralized in terms of witnesses. 

I would like to see more people get out the vote and gain proxy power.    Having well known proxies will be helpful in decentralizing control over who the witnesses are.

fav has stated that he will keep his voting decisions transparent for anyone that wants to make him the proxy for their votes. I have done so, and feel he is a trusted community member with the network's best interest in mind.

Nothing to do except tell people your account name. 

Unfortunately we don't have a way to view your total voting power at this point in time, but it can easily be calculated from the chain state.
