He didn't come up with the idea, just presenting it on behalf of another so we could review it and bytemaster could avoid thinking about it after we dismantle it.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Paid Workers Proposal for Review

I don't think he was proposing to change the dilution  rate, just the power stakeholders have.

no one can change rule,  this discussing is useless, if the income cannot pay the core developer income ,we have AGS, to pay them , and if change the rule it would make bts price drop so much , delegate income would decrease much.

So you think the ags funds will last that long?   They are mostly gone and at these prices they can only cover for short time.

The only rule left is stakeholders decide.  From what I see here delegates would be split and their income unchanged.   Going forward shareholders can vote different mixes of funding and block producers.

The risk of manipulation will be priced into premium charged by shorts.    Price feeds can be averaged to prevent rapid changes.

The current system barely works even when there are no bugs.  This system is much simpler to explain.  I believe bytemaster is trying to say that a lack of shorts selling at the feed is ok.  I also agree that even without fiat ramps, the most cost effective way to buy bts should be by buying bitusd first.  This is the only way we can be sure bitusd is the most directly liquid.

Great post about dac being a community and not a company.

I think it is assumed that bugs must be fixed. But it doesn't change the fact that PayPal and other companies with no bugs still had high user acquisition costs.

General Discussion / Re: Shuffle Bounty $200 BitUSD

For gambling purpose all that is necessary is to consider it an automatic loss if the prior block was skipped.

That will work for any case where one persons loss isn't someone else's gain.

The point of good entropy source is for smart contracts.   I like the idea of using both two secrets and new shuffle

Actually it would be possible to create a sql db version of the current state.    Sql is just not a good choice for real time evaluation because it is too slow.  I will look into providing a utility that will mirror chain state to a SqL db.
