bitshares.org is good enough...
Yes You are right, bitshares.com=4pts=10bts(someday in the future) but now it is useless like bitcoin.com . :)

Blockchain.info recently just signed a 5-year lease with the owner of bitcoin.com, as they plan on using the domain as a bitcoin education portal. They seem to find the domain very useful :)

BitShares domain should be .org because it's not commercial.

The last time I checked, the point of BitShares is the creation of profitable DACs, unlike the resource-wasting unprofitable inflationary Bitcoin. With Bitcoin, .org makes a lot more sense since there are no profits earned by its shareholders. BitShares is all about profit, thus in my opinion the non-profit connotations of the .org are misleading.

Bitcoin is a revolution of the people -- .org
Bitshares is a revolution in business -- .com

Regardless, A totally different website could be built on the .com, and the website itself could be immensely profitable through ads and/or other monetization methods. I imagine this is what Blockchain.info has in mind with bitcoin.com. Considering that BitShares could be creating new billion-dollar industries, I will be patient for the the right buyer as they will inevitably come along, just like with bitcoin.com / Blockchain.

In the meantime, I am still taking offers, for sale or for lease.

Still looking for more offers. I am open to the possibility of leasing this domain as well.

Perhaps unfair is the wrong word. To me, it just seems that honoring the Angel Address undermines the whole point of donating in exchange for AngelShares.

It concerns me that Invictus has said the BTSX funds from this allocation 'would not be touched'. Does that mean indefinitely? Or until they feel like it? If they are to stand by that word, they may as well burn the shares.

I am all for funding development, that is the point of AngelShares. I also understand that this was to be expected, as this is simply a logical result of how the system works. To me, it just seems much simpler for investors to make intelligent informed decisions with their funds without the complexity overhead that honoring the Angel Address adds. The whole AngelShares funding concept isn't the simplest thing to wrap your head around, and this adds deep complexity to the system. I don't think most people factored in this dilution of their share allocation when donating.

How will these be handled? This is effectively a ≈6% corporate premine.

I was thinking of this, and it seems a bit unfair that people donated PTS to get BTSX, but their actual percentage of total shares is diluted by these BTSX allocated to the Angel Address itself. It is even more unfair for BTC donators, as their shares become diluted as more people donate PTS.

Doesn't it make more sense to not include the Angel Address into any of the allocation snapshots?
