Title: Some Updates from Korean community
Post by: clayop on October 27, 2014, 10:53:42 pm
I have been trying to make some changes to help involvement of Korean community. Here are some updates about it.

1. (Perhaps) BM will add BitKRW on Bitshares (X). Thanks Stan and BM!

2. The biggest Korean crypto community(Ddengle.com) will create Bitcoin 2.0 board, which will contain Bitshares, Ethereum, etc.

3. I'm contacting Korean exchange named Yapizon to add BTS in the future. I think this will greatly promote participation of Korean community.

Thanks for all you guys' help and inspiration!

Thanks clayop for keeping the community updated.
South Korean market with Samsung / Android at home might become very important for mobile crypto payments - do you also think so?

That's awesome! Korea is a small country, but very technically advanced. Everybody there is plugged in. And there is a good bit of USD-->KRW-->USD conversion going on. Could be an ideal market.

You're right. Android, especially Samsung and LG, have a large share in Korea and almost everyone uses smartphone there. Therefore mobile crypto app may be important in Korea. However, due to lack of caution, security issues (which are more common in Android than iOS) may also arise as crypto mobile app become popular.

Even grandpapa and mama have smartphones ;) I think micro payment via smartphone could be potential market in Korea
