I would like to get some opinions on this. Say I have $10k to invest. I want to invest in bitshares, but the lack of liquidity on exchanges is going to make aquiring this much bts difficult. What do you think would be the best option?
-buy bts through exchanges with a resting order and let it hopefully fill?
-buy 10k worth of moonfund and get the 15% bonus. Is the 15% bonus and ability to aquire instantly worth the risk of not being paid back?
-
Moonstone can definitely need that money .. though there definitely is the risk that it may take some time for them to buy the back ..
Would splitting 50/50 make sense for you too.
I put my last buy order as a standing order AT market price and its was filled in less than 24h

It seems really easy to get orders filled on exchanges right now. There are big dumps multiple times a day.

Our site, http://Blocktrades.us is probably the simplest, most effective way to acquire a large BTS stake I think.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't even think of blocktrades originally.
Does anyone have any comments on what exchange would be the least costly to aquire bitcoins via credit card for a US citizen?

Coinbase or Circle will be your best bet getting BTC through a credit card in the states. Circle is usually slightly cheaper by a thin margin.
That said, I would almost always advise against using a CC if you can use your bank account instead. Both Circle and Coinbase add about ~3% to the cost in CC processing fees, in addition to a flat fee from the card issuer ($10 per transaction on the card I use)

First I've heard of your site. I'll give it a try. Do you have an affiliate program?

metaexchange.info (http://metaexchange.info) is also a way to go.
just compare the prices and choose the best price at the time you want to buy.

We plan on setting up a program like that before too long. It will be tied in through our new "user account" support.

Why no BitShares login support for the user account?
