BitShares PTS / Re: is my first mining, How i connect to PSTpool

Also I got a core dump error running ./ptsminer with my wallet address. :(

You should decrease the number '16' which is the number of threads.

Code: [Select]
./ptsminer <wallet_address> 16
You may also try the jhProtominer optimized miner.

I have ~ 100 USD in PayPal and would like to buy PTS.
So far I could not track any trading service which uses PayPal.

Actually, is there any service PTS or BTC accepting PayPal ?

I strongly agree with this ideas.
You can even create some part-time jobs :)
(There are already 6-7 full-time devs!)

Translation DAC: if you need an almost perfect translation reviewed by several native speakers, you want to use/join this

Protoshares-qt (default client) is for solo mining.

You may consider to check at least the following miners: ptsminer and jhProtominer
They are already compiled for 64-bit and CPU optimization (avx / sse4).

Note: If you still want to stick with the default client, check this optimization => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=332704.0

Remember to benchmark your machine with other miners like jhprotominer.

You must choose a ProtoShare pool and a compatible miner.

Check this thread => https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=168.0

Note: cgminer does not work with ProtoShare mining.

It would be nice if it was a steganography challenge :)
Why not starting some kind of Treasure Hunt?
