My accountant has always advised me to invest 4-40% of whatever money you receive into yourself first. Spend money on things that will make you money (like bitSilver), retire financially as soon as possible, treat investing like it's a bill that has to be paid or else and get a copy of the Cashflow 101 boardgame from robert kiyosaki. Well worth it, wish i had that passive income advice decades ago. Ive gone from homeless to beemers to everything in between, so don't sweat it, we all hit bottom at least once. If all you can invest right now is $2, so be it. Get some bitassets, get some crypto coins and just keep buying. A dollar here, 2 there, 5 next week and so on. Do local trades too, you've got lotsa friends here in the crypto space @MedTorgenstein :)

Yeah, along with Think and Grow Rich, The Richest Man In Babylon is one of my frequent re-reads :)
I'm also familiar with 'As a Man Thinketh'.. short and sweet.
OP, definitely read TRMIB.
