I've started on this bounty.  Initial progress is here:  https://github.com/drltc/docblock

I have some questions here:  https://github.com/drltc/docblock/blob/master/questions.md

Since bytemaster is most familiar with the core code, I suspect he'll be answering most of them.  But any other developers or random forum lurkers are encouraged to answer to conserve bytemaster's time :)

Technical Support / Re: 0.4.12 crash and crash
« on: September 08, 2014, 03:53:32 pm »
It seems the GitHub builds were recompiled to fix some of the crashes but bitshares-x.info links were not updated. We are discussing with DSL the best way to keep all links always up to date and consistent. The reason that there are multiple hosts is that GitHub links seem to be very slow in China.

General Discussion / Re: Where is BitCNY?

The price feed seems to be up and running.

How is this market supposed to start now?
With all the new anti-shorting market rules I don't think we will ever see 10 million BTSX worth of short orders within 10% of the peg.

Can the min market depth be abolished now or at least significantly reduced please?

At 19:00 UTC min market depth should decrease to 0.25% of original share supply = 5,000,000 BTSX

after run wallet_regenerate_keys
the wallet_scan_progress always run from 0%~1.2%, again and again

version rc1 is ok, but rc2 can't work

This may be fixed in the next version.

I don't know about the GUI, but with the command line version you can use the --log-commands argument to output all console i/o to a console.log file.

RC2 released: https://github.com/dacsunlimited/bitsharesx/releases/tag/0.4.11-RC2

More market fixes so RC1 users still will have to upgrade.

Yay,Now  I  can cancel order successful in 0.4.11。thks!

Hi, did you use the same command and it worked in 0.4.11? Or did you use the new experimental "wallet_market_cancel_order2" command?

Take a look here: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=7067.msg94189#msg94189

When the software is more stable, proper advance notice will be given for such announcements. For now there are many important bug fixes being made very quickly.

Technical Support / Re: Wallet import crashes, older imports lose balance.
« on: September 01, 2014, 09:45:38 pm »
Are you letting the blockchain sync before importing the wallet backups? You will not see your balances before the chain is synced. Others have reported crashes when importing before fully synced.

Hi I updated to 0.4.10 today. Im on windows. The new software wouldn't sync so I saved Bitsharesx roaming file and deleted all software and roaming files. I did a fresh install with a new password, I got fully synced, I attempted to import config.json file as I have successfully with previous updates and I receive the following error message:

failed to restore wallet backup your original wallet has been restored Error: Bad cast (7) Invalid cast from object type to Array

I cannot import my wallet into the latest software any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Windows users with this problem look here: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=7349.msg98855#msg98855

alt, I will look at this. Have you noticed this behaviour before 0.4.9? Or only noticed since 0.4.9 and 0.4.10?
