Nice charts, I was pretty pissed when I noticed yesterday morning the diff went down to around 1600+ was planning to start mining on a few dozen servers when I wake up but after sleeping a few hours, diff was already up 3 times.

This should be good for the coin.

Thanks! It's a great resource.

Block rate over time seems to be reporting between 1/min and 3/min - shouldn't it be more like 10/hour - what's up with that? Also what's the difference between Block rate and Chain rate?

Thanks for the new charts - the second chart shows the impact of GUI mining (from around the 30th December) and YAM's new miner (12th Jan) . . . improvements in mining should show up as lower figures on this chart and it gives us a formula for the software to estimate the MMC/USD rate based on the difficulty and block reward.
