T.J. Coin down ... CPU was it ... I go back xpm sorry good..
Its performance gainst of about 4x, that is pretty GPU resistant I'll say. Still can mine effectively on CPU

I need someone to sent a small amount of MMC to this address so that I can test my code. It can be any amount its really not important. I cannot access my main machine otherwise I would do it myself. Here is the address: MNpD6mmsWApL1M7qqWYxJm3Q8q3JrDWUAg

Go on ebay, you can pick up a dual quad core processor 1U server for £100 in full working condition.

You really want a dedicated server anyway

10hpm on 7870 and 20hpm on 280X, this can be slightly increased with overclocking. The coin is pretty much GPU-hostile, just as planned :)

Glad to hear it - I wonder if it will be profitable for GPU miners, or if they will stick to other coins. I wonder too what share of the overall hashrate you'll capture.

Anyway, congrats!
That really depends on exchange rates, a foresighted miner would want to diversify I guess. Economics for GPU farm owners is also different than for cloud miners: they essentially only spend money on power and can switch (back) to LTC at any moment. So let us see how it plays out.
I personally mine coins other than LTC on my GPUs, what can a 7990 pull?
MMC/BTC price could raise x10. LTC/BTC is maximum now.
No its not, its diamond. I meant what hashrate

We're not actually on an exchange yet, you can't withdraw from bter

Can't withdraw what? I withdrew some MMC from bter recently
My withdrawals are still just pending

We basically are not on an exchange at the moment. Its not really an exchange when you can only deposit funds.

So I just tried processing a small withdrawal and it seems to have worked fine. Maybe only a problem with some accounts. You could try setting up a fresh account, that might help.
Mine just still say pending. I can't cancel the withdrawals either

The gambling service is starting this week, in order celebrate this I will match any donations to the Seans Outpost address MVTEcno2tbsJWj7AQEyEjgk72j94hbPHFm

There is a limit, but that limit is in the thousands.

Edit:
Post your donations below so I can easily get all of the donations written down in one place.

Nice, I was planning to make one of these, what did you use. Coinpunk?

I guess I'll just have to do an SPV wallet and android wallet.

We now have more than litecoin...

MemoryCoin / Re: DDOS attack on pools

Are any of you familiar with setting up a VPN layer on your server. I have done this before with sensitive websites and it could help in this circumstance. Essentially you have a dummy server which everyone connects to which is connected via a special sort of VPN to your real server. This means its a lot harder to flood the system with requests and when configured properly, on the dummy server you set up countless bash scripts that handle IP tables blocking any IPs with large numbers of requests, although that part will not help if this is DDOS
