@puppies the rightfull winner has contacted me with his bts adress which I intend to honor. I have asked him to contact you as well.

Once again congratulations to goosoodude! Your winnings do not worth much now but one day hopefully will be worth much more. :)

Not sure if he'll be here to accept his prize...

But it looks like his ID is "BTS: goodadude", from his post history.

hhhmmm...I think I will wait until month end so he comes forward and confirms that this is the BTS id he wants to use.
Otherwise I think I should assume that he is not interested in claiming the prize and I should move on to the next one upwards.??Anyway I do hope that he comes forward and claims his prize and I don't make an unfair judgement here..

I owe the winner 1000 bts as well.  I'm not sure if we should just send to his account or move on to the next highest if he doesn't claim his winnings.  What does everyone else think?

@puppies I have been thinking about this and I don't think it is fair not to reward the winner even if he is not active. In the end of the day he may come back after a couple of years when bts will be $1 and he will be very happy to find out that he won $1,000-$2,000..
On the other side it is a shame to just throw bts to someone who never claims them...
All in all I think I will reward the winner and maybe you can reward the next upwards..This way both will be happy...It would be interesting though to see what others think as more fair.

1) Can we please build something to show all open orders from each account in one page? It is very difficult to remember which account has open orders and clicking to each account separately

2) When we vote someone with proxy with 1 account does it take into account only the balance of the account used to vote or the balances of all the accounts? I assume the former but I don't think that many people who have small balances in other accounts will ever go to those accounts and vote. But small balances here and there when they add up may be significant and this way voting is more accurate

3) I am sure that as many have mentioned trade history (market and our trade history) are very important in the exchange

4) Where do we stand with the implementation of the % of ownership? Can this be shown and take into account all the balances of a wallet and not the % of the specific account?

5) Collateral positions migrated from bts 0.9.3c which may have closed and do not need to be on the dashboard anymore. Can we get rid of these?

6) Are the backups .bins deterministic?  I don't think that if I make a back up .bin and I import to a different browser it will show up all the transactions. I played around last night and I came to this conclusion..Also in one browser I have renamed 3 wallets but on the other browser only one wallet appears..Anyway I am not sure what i have done or how to describe exactly what I mean..lol..

Overall I have to say that the new bts2 is awesome and I don't understand how it is even possible not having reached the moon yet..

General Discussion / Re: Stop loaning your Bitshares for shorts
« on: October 18, 2015, 05:13:44 pm »
well since i am a bts bull i would love to short some bitassets in our DEX but unfortunately the low liquidity, the high premium for the bitassets and the new shorting rules which i have no idea how they work and what all these prices mean (we definitely need new tutorial videos) leaves  me no other choice but to send my bts to polo and go margin long there, which is very risky since I already got margin called and I risk to get again and again...

So eventually, I lending my bts to Polo in order for me to take a leverage long position on BTS and I am pretty sure that Polobots then use those bts to drive the price down..How sick is that??

I wouldn't go with usd to be honest...But because many people will never agree in one asset diversification in many would be best

« on: October 18, 2015, 05:01:25 pm »
nice video +5% +5%

what would be also interesting is a simple video about how bitusd is actually created. Who gets that bitusd and how it is then taken out of circulation and destroyed and exactly the flow of funds. A video like the one that Dan has made a looong time ago but better and simpler so anyone who does not understand economics and CFDs can understand about the creation of bitusd.

I find my self when I am trying to explain how a bitusd is created like a "bet" between two parties but that doesn't work most of the times.

@luckybit  +5% +5% +5% as always!!

I also believe that the % ownership in the GUI is really important

I also believe that the BTS reserve should diversify and held should be put into the reserve pool as BitUSD or some other basket of assets and commodities. And it should be many assets bitbtc, bitusd, bitcny, bitgold, bitsilver

I wish someone actually starts listening here and do not ignore this community

General Discussion / Re: biteur mentioned on National Greek TV
« on: October 17, 2015, 07:34:51 pm »
it was mostly for bitcoin since bitcoin is all they have heard here.
biteur was mentioned since bikelounge also accepts biteur but the speaker was too stressed with the whole live interview and didn't get into much detail with the biteur and didn't say everything i told him to say about biteur but just a few.

The important thing is that in the future we will most likely go in a more detailed interview about bitshares and the benefits of biteur. For this to happen we definitely need a final stable and proper GUI wallet, mobile wallet, CCEDK nanocard accepting bitassets and working, liquidity and get passed this minuscule market cap that bitshares is drawn to.

If you guys manage to do the above, I will make sure everyone in Greece knows about bitshares! :)

Have you heard anything about legality of crypto ATM's within Greece?  I'd like to place a few of them around, just can not get any answers on long term legal issues.  As you know business law's seem to be changing every day.

As far as I know it is not illegal to place bitcoin ATMs and as far as I know soon will be placed a lot of bitcoin ATMs in Greece.

I said it in the past and I will repeat it again. These things take long in Greece but we only need a small spark and crypto can be massively be adopted by people here..I think this spark is about to happen soon..There is no much time left for missed opportunities.

Bitshares need to recover for this market cap, we need a big buzz and then everyone is going to use bitassets here..
