1. I have made extensive comments on the blackswan bsip already
2. BitShares doesnt have a transparency issue. OpenLedger does but we cannot change that, they can.
3. Lack of developers is what causes the quiet zone. If we can find some, we can fund them. Until then we wont see updates which isnt necessarily bad because the code/network is stable.
Finally, proxies have no 'control' over any funds also not the reserves. We merely approve proposals if we think they are ok and should be done. The network then pays
This distinction is important to me legally!
Also, it is quite well known that i support every useful and meaning full worker AFTER some reputation is gained (e.g. through some work done prior to being paid)
Finally, i still see a great future for BitShares dispite the negativity of people that don't know how to read the right charts.
