Если честно, не читаю русскоязычную ветку форму форума вообще.

И на вопросы отвечаю по-английски.

А так - ладно уж, +1 если спросили.

ichai,

As soon as you are ready for testing with your pool, please PM me, so I can add support for your pool to my miner.

BitShares PTS / Re: why my yam only can use up to 512mb per thread

This is not a bug, but specifics of command line processing - bash interprets ampersand by itself as command separator.

You have three options to work around this: 1) specify parameters separately, 2) use config file. 3) out quotes around parameter just like as you do for parameters with spaces.

I think so, I believe there are tools to install any command line app as a service.

Btw, I can not advise from the top of the head which exactly tool shall be used, but I am sure it is possible.

Djemi, No, he is not yvg1900 :)

But as soon as we have another miner dev, I will jump in, too.

MMC support in yam will come. I am not checking which pool is technically advanced enough to be first picked.

The best one was xram.co, but unfortunately it is closed. So we will see which one will be flrxible enough to do technically right things.

Does that also mean that pool is strict on the value of nTime in mined header? (means if I want for example every mining thread to run its own work shall I obey rule of getting work from server for every individual thread, or I am free to select nonce/nTime on miner side?)

Great to know about longpool, PM me please when you have it ready for testing.

Another technical question.

Your pool advertising X-Roll-NTime support in responses. Does it support it as per specification? Does X-Roll-NTime value of 500 seconds set with a purpose?

I am asking that because of block target is 6 minutes, thus 360 seconds, and setting up rollntime to 500 seem a bit too high for me. Am I wrong with this assumption?

Does this pool support long-polling?

Two questions:

1) Is this pool up? I am getting 403 on home page and 404 on registration.
2) Have somebody seen that long-polling is working on this pool?

Note that connection errors that happen during finetuning make finetuning information significantly distorted, so it is by-design behaviour to restart finetuning process if connection error has been detected.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to detect at which stage connection became invalid, if this produced extra CPU load or introduced scheduling pauses.

You can perform finetuning at the pool with high connection stability and use AV parameter with any other pool, because of mining algo is pool neutral.

PM me a log fragment related to fine tuning continuation (I e when it starts over 32 to 1).
