That is not true. Online poker was not made illegal because of the UIGEA. The UIGEA made it illegal for financial institutions to facilitate transactions between poker sites and people.

« on: January 23, 2014, 03:13:24 pm »As long as you hold the private key you are good. I used multibit once but I remember you could save your private key.
I guess the BitsharesX client will also be able to check multibit wallets to make it easier for the users.
We will probably create a bounty for this.
I too used multi-bit wallet, but I was under the impression that that wallet was one under my control. Who else controls it?
