From a website standpoint, the description meta tag should probably have something between the ""

<meta name="description" content="">

This is like this on all pages on the site

Found another...

Many alt-companies with creative profit models.

when showing this site to my wife last night, I thought I stumbled upon one such typo.

On http://invictus.io/bitsharesx.php in the section comparing a bank to bitsharesX:
Lends dollars.
Earns revenue.
Calls loan.
Repay loan.

I found it awkward that Repay is not Repays to go with the other ones. BitsharesX repays loan sounds better than BitsharesX repay loan.

If you release as a DAC and honor PTS then i will be more inclined as a stakeholder to invest more to help make the idea successful.

Best of luck with your endeavor and thank you for seeking our community input.

Is getting into Keyhotee at this moment not possible? I had more than 10 PTS on that date but they were on an exchange and i didn't hear about Keyhotee till after the fact. Is there anything that can be done?

Technical Support / Re: Hi, a couple questions

I have found that e-coins.com is also a legitimate exchange.  The PTS volume is extremely low compared to the other two so it may not be easy to get an order filled if you are trying to buy or sell more than a couple of coins.

That e-coins domain is GoDaddy parked so it looks like it is kaput

What about other radio spots like The Tech Guy with Leo Laporte to try to reach the masses beyond the crypto-community? - or at least have someone well spoken and with a clear understanding call in during his next show (tie it into Miami so it is a current tech event and the call screener puts you on the air).

How are dividends paid?

What currency are they paid in, where do dividends go (to your wallet?) and how often are they paid out?

Every transaction destroys currency which increases your cut when displayed as a percentage of remaining BTS.

BTS are infinitely divisible and at any time the network could perform a 'stock split'

I am having trouble understanding this, so the number of BTS (4 million) actually decreases over time? until (there are no more BTS???)?
The money supply is infinitely divisible, so losing supply is not a problem.
Bitshares will have the bitcoin quality of being highly divisible.

Instead of having a complicated method of transferring dividends and taking away fees, Invictus has thought of the simple and elegant solution of simply destroying BitShares as a way of charging fees. Less Bitshares in existence means that the remaining shares become more valuable (akin to that of a listed company buying back its own shares to increase shareholder value).

For the stock splitting I'm assuming that this would mean for example: if the number of bitshares is reduced to say 2million, then a stock split could reward share holders by giving them a free bitshare for every bitshare they have. This will bring the total number of bitshares back to 4million.
Brilliant. This whole idea as it rolls out is going to be exciting and a lot of fun. godspeed

MemoryCoin / Re: How can I be more clear? PTS=>MMC
« on: January 12, 2014, 04:31:49 pm »
We have seen on the richest addresses list that bter sends the funds of all users to a single address.
Thus they would need to have a function in their software to calculate the balance of each user at block 32k.

Maybe you should start by explaining the PTS system, and tell them that they are able to redeem a lot of MemoryCoin. When they do, they don't have to forward them to the users, but as a service could offer to their users to redeem on request. Or they add it to the users' balance - what a great surprise would that be for some.

Don't have a lot of time right now, but we can work out a message here together if you like. When they don't just keep the MMC for themselves it's a nice pr opportunity for bter and maybe brings some new people to MMC.

That would be great, I know it is a longshot but figured its worth a try. It took them 2 full weeks to respond. They do have Memorycoin on their exchange http://bter.com/trade/mmc_btc so you are right it would not be that hard for them to do such a thing and it would be a nice gesture.
