Is the registration fee per account of 0.5 btsx for life or one year or somthing else?

Correct. Also, accounts are nontransferable (without jeopardizing the security of maintaining control of your private keys)

No .. definitly not! neither, rename, nor delete, nor unregister ...

not automatic, if you don't renew you just have to manually renew whenever you get around to it.

What are you talking about? The current scheme does not need a renewal of registered accounts ..
There have been discussions about a possibility to FLAG an account as "untrusted/stolen/lost/whatsoever"
