however, I don't think it's very difficult to find skilled enough developers to do the core dev job.
Uff, have you ever looked into *their* job?
Since I am in a closed telegram group with the core dev team, I can tell you, it's *WAY* over my head ... and I'd call myself well-educated.
OK,maybe I was wrong.
It's going to be exceedingly difficult and expensive to replace the development capabilities lost due to refund400k. It's concerning that you're unaware of what you're blocking & the subsequent future consequences that burning these bridges will result in.

You have a meeting again and again, taking money from the BTS again and again, and then cashing in. Caused the BTS to plunge again and again, you are rubbish!
This is false, the worker proposals are not the source of BTS price depreciation. Whoever informed you this was the case has misled you. Stop spreading misinformation.

And those workers, do nothing, the wages are still taken, how can the price of BTS rise? ? ?
Again, completely false. Many of the worker proposals are highly productive, highly transparent, and are not the source of price downtrend.

Without UI, Core & HTD workers your BTS would be extremely at risk. You don't know what you're talking about.

For the development of BTS, resolutely resist the destruction of BTS by these unscrupulous guys!
Please cancel the vote on those proposals for taking money! !
To vote for refund400k is to vote for austerity, to vote for a cease of development, to vote for worse security, to vote for a price downtrend. None of the workers are 'unscrupulous', your misinformation to drive refund400k forwards is what is unscrupulous.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: [Worker Proposal] Reduce onboarding registrar
« on: September 02, 2019, 04:48:30 pm »
At the moment the onboarding.bitshares.foundation takes 15% as registrar.
To stay competitive with OpenLedger the registrar should also be set to 0%.

Registrar cut was introduced to cover costs for signup, but with low signup costs and new referral system(market fee share), this is not needed anymore.

Network onboarding.bitshares.foundation should be the best competing faucet since it's backed by bitshares worker, OL is using his 0% faucet's feature to gain more voting power while advertising his faucet to be competing with the network's official faucet.
The faucet worker proposal has been blocked by refund400k, it may eventually stop working and new users will be impeded from joining.

RE Changing the fee taken, why not propose changing the redistribution of fees from 80:20 so that the network gets more? Problem solved, can remove refund400k vote.

The core team have got the enought fund already.

I didn't think this is the time or future to support all the worker.

The income of the DEX can't support all the worker, only can support one or two worker.

The reserve pool? it shouldn't exsit, the worker fund shouldn't attach to the reserve pool, it should attach to the income,so we can determine easily which worker is necessary.
The core team don't have enough funding for the full worker proposed goals.

The income of the DEX certainly can support all the workers, you're wrong. If you're concerned you can propose referral fee redistribution towards reserve pool inflation, but this solution is being ignored instead going straight to the nuclear option of destroying ongoing workers with no justifiable reason.

Why shouldn't the reserve pool exist? It's been the intended functionality for years now and doesn't have any negative impact on BTS economy.

this solution may increase the possibility of a black swan event
Global Settlement*. Since BSIP18 the black swan scenario has solutions, thus this term is outdated.

Why focus solely on bitCNY? Why not the norns given the reduction in risk?

Same logic, don't the BTS holders from China understand what sense can workers like wirex make?

Whilst Wirex wouldn't immediately be available in China, but by enhancing the Bitshares ecosystem in US, EMEA & soon SEA, the holders from China will benefit.

in my view, when BTS price is under 0.3CNY or there are margin call orders in CNY/USD markets, any big workers should be stopped immediately.

Indiscriminately stopping all workers may damage the Bitshares network. Reputation & Brand has already been inflicted by refund400k due to the conferences being at-risk/cancelled. One could theorize that the recent price drops are influenced by refund400k, the opposite of the intended effect.

354
I'm sorry to see the conference being cancelled due to refund400k voters, this is quite unfortunate.

Bump. Still looking for further price feed publishers & market participants 👍
You should set up a market fee and share it to price feed publisher!
Market fee permission is permanently disabled.
Why ?

The market fee permission was disabled for the Norns to reduce potential regulatory hurdles/issues.

Other users on the Bitshares platform are welcome to create their own alternative algorithm based assets with market fees enabled, using the existing Norn price feed scripts (MIT licensed).

The network will still earn fees from any Norn related operations on the bitshares platform.

I've not had any direct feedback from potential price feed publishers regarding fees prohibiting their price feed publishing participation, they're one of the cheapest operations on the network. I've created 6M+ price feed operations on the bitshares network so far for hertz & the norns.

If the hackthedex & ui worker proposals hadn't existed then the security of BTS would be in a worse state.

Wasn't the reported issues only low security issues ?
Heck no. Look: https://hackthedex.io/#/reports

Nobody should be using a client version older than a few months ago, fact.

NABTS2019

Was an upcoming dedicated Bitshares conference in North America; its deactivation is a major loss for Bitshares marketing opportunity.

DEXBot WP3 - Liquidity for the DEX

Highly active community worker proposal for developing an open source trading bot for Bitshares; this worker is highly beneficial to the Bitshares liquidity and market bootstrapping. There are no equal featured alternative Bitshares trading bots.

201907-steemfest

Promoting Bitshares at Steemfest - an soon to be lost opportunity to market Bitshares to new users.

201902-reference-faucet

Without this new users would be unable to register on the Bitshares network. How don't you know this? Are you using an alternative? There's no actively maintained alternative registration faucets, blocking this would deter new users from Bitshares.

2019-06-decentralized-partnership

A soon to be lost marketing opportunity for Bitshares.

By blocking decentralized, steemfest & nabts2019 worker proposals you disregard marketing/advertising across America, Europe, Middle east & Africa entirely.

201902-infrastructure

Required so that web wallets have servers to connect to. By attacking this WP you threaten the Bitshares infrastructure for us all.

Who are you? Why apply for such a huge expense?

Most of the worker proposals are highly transparent and you can find this information out if you were to do some digging.

These expenses are fair market rates for highly specialist contract developers, if you can undercut the existing dev worker proposals then do submit one else this is empty complaining.

Is it really necessary for you to exist?

Yes, very.

Why don't you tell us what's going on and what's going on?

The three marketing/conference workers are for events in the future, they can't provide you information on content which does not yet exist. You can find out more info on steemfest & decentralized by visiting their dedicated websites & the nabts wp you could have asked in its dedicated 'stakeholder proposal' thread.

The infrastructure and faucet workers don't provide constant update reports because they're passively operational software stacks for maintaining the operational state of the Bitshares network.

Who's to say you're not corrupt?
Unless you've got clear evidence of corruption, don't make accusations of bad faith. Most of the above worker proposals are highly transparent. From my perspective you're attacking the Bitshares network with this fraudulent narrative.
