Is the alpha version only for windows? I have a founder ID but I'm on mac, how do I register?
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
I'm in favor of a frequently updated company blog with a newsletter that might contain more specific information, but really should just be a way for people to have news delivered to them if they dont want to visit the blog.
I look forward to your show twice a week, it's almost a ritual for me.... and now your poking around in my favorite alt community. It's too cool! Glad your here buddy.
I'm valuable doing the show because I live and breath this stuff. Protoshares and invictus are a big deal, but not the only one I wrote a paper you might be interested in

Why would anybody short fiat at a 5% tax? It may be that volatile in the future but that seems crazy right now. If no one shorts it how is bitusd created?
You can short against any asset, 5% may not be so unreasonable if you think USD will fall against oil/bts/btc/gold/silver. That said, I think you have a point given how much of an emphasis on currencies there is in the current root chain plan.
Very interesting. This is a good idea.JUST do it ,You can use the same method as the AGS to complete your thoughts!
Good point, I actually hadn't thought of that. Now, I understand that AGS is sort of a distributed Kickstarter, at least I think, the thing I don't understand is how you keep track who donated what. Would it be a manually intensive process to keep track of who donated what and when? Or is there a way to automate it?
When a DAC launches it's Genesis block initializer scans PTS and BTC block chains. For PTS, it uses all unspent outputs as of the specified launch block. For AGS it reads the Angel addresses and computes who donated how much each day. (It also reads the Keyhotee Founders donations and computes their Day 1 AGS). Then it issues those shares in its genesis block. All this info is public information available to everyone.
Code to do this will be available in the DAC developer's toolkit so any honorable developer can incorporate it with ease.
I am also curious if anyone knows whether the assets mentioned in the OT video are more like colored coins or bitshares.
Everything they are doing thus far is colored coins (digital bearer bonds).
Will start posting on memorycoin.org soon!
I hope to hire somebody who can help with the news blog regularly. But if you have somebody in mind let me know.
