Out of the gate we probably won't require 1000 TPS. I do recognize that is only 10% of our claims, and if we DID have a massive response on the launch and we couldn't handle it, it would be very bad indeed.

Well, that's not really expensive... 3600 USD will give you:

1 hour of 100TPS attack or... 30 seconds of 12000 TPS attack. Is that not enough to bring down the network?

Give it 5 years. Then either we will be rich or bts will be defeated.

Weekly pump process of BTS  based on speculation and  gossips due to issue 2.0 version.  2.0 news already played out. Before 13th oct it will be dumped to 1900 - 2200sat, that is the most real scenario I think.  Its can be pumped again closer to 13th and again this will be based on speculation. The real  healthy grow will be after BTS community increasing,  caused by effective technical  breakthrough  due to 2.0 version. I think this natural process will be extended in time of 1 - 3 months after the 2.0 version will be issued, and mostly it will depends  of marketing organization of the project.

We are preparing a new test network that will be a dry-run for the actual BTS 2.0 launch process.   This means the following:

1. It will have 3 second blocks
2. It will have 1 real computer per witness (but we will control all initial witnesses)
3. There will only be 11 initial witnesses, and we will VOTE in more
4.  We will have 1 hour maintenance intervals, this should increase reindexing time by a factor 12
5.  We will have lower transfer fees for testing purposes
6.  We will be producing price feeds for bitassets
7.  We will be producing a Mac / Windows GUI distribution
8. There will be a new genesis file from a recent snapshot.

The GUI distributions will be available next week.  This week we are focusing on our infrastructure.

Before we can launch this test network we are putting in some scheduled minor hard-forking changes that have built up over the past several weeks of the last test network. 

Our goal for this network is to pretend it is the real launch and to have it go as smoothly as possible.

Is the 0.9.3 update coming, so that we can easily import keys?
