Title: is there a way to trick 0.9.3c into thinking its online even if it's not?
Post by: unreadPostsSinceLastVisit on October 19, 2015, 09:05:00 pm
as title says, I downloaded the blockchain from a different source, and noticed that its trying to sync it when connected to peers.

but ive been having trouble staying connected to peers (and therefore synced) for the past few versions. especially 0.9.3c

so is there a way to trick it into thinking it's connected to somebody, when really it's just catching up on the blockchain that's already there?

It's really critical to keep that network alive, just so people can export from it.

I am still running my full node and intend to keep it that way

given the rate that it seems to be resyncing, i'm wondering if it's using the one I downlaoded and put in the .BitShares folder, or if it's redownloading it.
