I really hope the developers increase the burn rate so that we get at least 5% interest every year, which would mean if you had $10,000 in BTSX in 1 year you have an extra $500. Tons of people would move their money from banks into BTSX for this one reason. It would disrupt the banking system.

I believe this idea is something for the marketing department to take up. With a large enough audience interested and a few big name companies willing to sponser...Overstock.com Coindesk, etc this would work.
I'm sure Coindesk would publish articles about the BitsharesXpo which would hit reddit spiking traffic to the BitshareXpo page, causing people to buy tickets. Doesn't necessarily have to be in USA, the first one could be in Hong Kong, I know we have lots of interested chinese investors. There is always someone that knows someone important that can get these things done.

Would be cool to have an expo where companies and people could talk to the developers about BitsharesX, ticket prices could also help fund development, or make it free and have sponsors

The only problem is the interest is soooooooooooooooooooo low. Not even 1% per year. Sure, I want interest, but 1% cmon. At least 5% would attract a lot of people.

I'm looking at this extremely low burn rate every day, anyway to increase it? I'm sure people would love to see a higher daily burn rate.
