I like how this site looks https://www.ripplecharts.com/#/ , the dark theme in particular.

absolutely .. !

Not being a coder, im not sure how difficult that is. However, i did notice that ripple sites front end is open source so surely we can create something similar without having to recreate the wheel. Right?

- I can see adding sidechains for other major cryptos such as litecoin and peercoin.  Wouldn't it be possible now to trade amongst them as well?  Huge liquidity.

this may not by true... so do not take my words as final... but I think we could integrate with everycoin which has multisig. But... it will require to run full node of that client by all witnesses. So it would be difficult to run 20 full nodes of different coins. So (in my opinion) we should focus on:

* BTC
* ETH
* DOGE :)

There are projects in the pipeline that will hopefully expose simpler, more mainstream interfaces to the Bitshares blockchain.

Cant wait for these to come online. I think we need this badly.

Just wondering if BM is still working on this and how that fits in to the timeline. Are we still moving in this direction?

They claim to be solvent again.

My radar is going off though. Makes me think they are gambling with customer funds on some level.
They wont get my custom. But, i do like how user friendly their interface is.  :D

    CEO of bitreserve, Halsey Minor .. owes over 10 million in taxes to California.
    "As of 2012 the state of California listed Halsey as the #1 on the list of the state's Top 250 Delinquent Taxpayers"

I found this ^^ on the forum from over a year ago. Seems like theres some controversy around that CEO.
Makes me happy my funds are DECENTRALIZED.

for those of us who have to work, will there be an opportunity to listen to the recording later?

I do think we could become a preferred goto not just for BTC trade but for storage.
Yeah... people like to keep their bitcoins on the exchange... and with DEX this will be secure... finally :)

Now that sounds like a profitable niche we've carved out for ourselves   +5% +5%

I think if you're going to do it, do it right or delay implementation until it is ready.
