I asked on the QORA slack channel if there is some news about the integration on BitShares. I had this answer ; "We actually need an official info about the whole story with bitshares, we dont know in simple terms what that integration means or even the insights on a more detailed approach to conclude on this"Anyone here have info or a simple explanation on the potential integration ?

It can trade with anyone else who has the atomic cross chain code running in their chain. There's a whole bit on it on their website and in an article somewhere...so we can trade bts-btc or bitBTC-BTC directly?if btc &bts both have atomic cross chain code running?exactly

What am I missing? It has AT (automated transactions) developed by CIYAM developers ! ( Sry .. but link is extrem technical) So IMO it's not just a generic altcoin... as it has Atomic Cross Chain Trading enabled tradable currently between Qora and Burst!Atomic Cross Trading is definitely something that would be beneficial in this ecosystem.

what‘s qora
(It would be like having Bitshares enable ATs, and then being able to trade like you can now between Qora and Burst. But even cooler).
I'm going to see if BTer will vote Yes with my stake they won't give back.
I think what doing this does is legitimizes Bitshares as a future standard/protocol to adhere to. Bitcoin/Bitshares/Ethereum...those are the only ones who I see have a future in the crypto space to really make a protocol. Everything else will belong as an extension of these three. Depends on whether or not MaidSAFE is a success (but the more I read about the economics...I'm not so sure).
I think that if this can be done and the result is:Qora still does all the decentralized web/social/blog/etc things it is working on, but also you can trade between Qora and BTS/bitAssets o nthe bitshares blockchain, then thats awesome. I don't get this.Only 13 addresses / 3% of the stake voted, isn't this announcement a bit premature ? Plus I really don't understand how BTS could integrate them. How could Qora's features be conserved ? If Qora became an UIA, Qora users would have to pay 0.2$ each time they use Qora, how would that be accepted ?
Quote from: Akado on July 30, 2015, 10:13:18 amregarding the high fees vs qora being more of a micro payment token, I honestly don't know if I'm saying nonsense as I'm not a technical guy but don't off chain transactions allow micropayments? And doesn't Ripple work that way? Couldn't we do that with BitShares? Doesn't BitShares support almost anything Ripple does on the protocol level?Trustless, off chain transactions are an unsolved problem. Ripple is all on-chain. Bitshare's feature set is very different to ripple's.

I like the inclusive attitude that goes along with such embracing / integration of other chains / communities What does "integration" mean? Is there a place to read about this?
