ATTENTION Delegates!
The following is for the Hang Seng, Nikkei, Nasdaq, Shanghai and Shenzhen indexes. This will help us get more transactions processed and a higher market cap.
Right now the fees are $20 dollars a mistake in the previous script, we are sorry, anyways this changes that Xeroc, Wackou, and Monsterer made reduces the fees to 30 or 40 bts a trade, something we will have to amend again at $1 dollar per bitsharestalk or in bitshares 2.0.
Will all delegates please update there pytools to what Xeroc made or bts_tools with what wackou or monsterer made, the following is Xeroc pytools script https://github.com/xeroc/bitshares-pytools/commit/b6fc70ffb801a7e2869b7ee4b155c27129c30fa8#diff-27bb350ac3c5ac68778a08476c884d8eR379 this is for the updated indices, please tell your delegate friends.
Basically the new indices are BTS denominated and have only 30 cent per transaction fees.
We need to get these indexes working properly and this is the fix. People want to trade this stuff, get on the bandwagon and get your delegate friends to update.
All the best,
eagleeye

alt hasnt updated his script, hes not been following the thread.
Sorry for being so gungho about getting this up without his script, I will update this thread when he updates his.
-
Alt and Xeroc now both have updated their scripts, so I believe that all delegates can now upgrade their scripts/tools and get the new price feeds for those indices.
-
The delegates I look after are running the new pytools.
-
Just updated my tools to 0.2.9, that should be the latest right Nick?

yup, that's the latest one.

bitshares-pytools]$ git pull
Already up-to-date.

I updated my version last night.
Those of us that have updated should show up with massive negative deviation from the mean for these assets, right?

How do we see who updated?

How do we see who updated?
You can go to bitsharesblock in the asset info page. For instance, NASDAQC is here: http://www.bitsharesblocks.com/asset/info?asset=NASDAQC
If you check the "show feeds" check box in the right part, you can see all feeds published for this asset. Here, delegates with a feed of ~5000 NASDAQC/BTS have already updated, delegates with a feed of ~800'000 BTS haven't upgraded yet.

Interesting. I updated to the latest version of alts script. I was showing a large negative deviation from the mean. I am not sure what happened.
