what is the possibility of seeing real time worker estimated payouts like on MPOS pools, been hashing for over 24 hrs and no payout yet and no idea what my actual earnings are.....BIG turnoff to dedicated miners....

If you go to http://pool.minebitshares.com/payouts you can see all the payouts processed. Cross reference your address and you will see it there.

That's good for past payout but I meant an estimated earnings readout for the current payout round

That is something we are planning on implementing as part of additional enhancements to our payment system to make it more automated and also enable some other unique features that will help enhance profitability more consistently daily. Estimated earnings will be part of that. I can't give you an ETA on that as of yet until we have completed some other updates.

Feel free to share any other suggestions you may have that you would like to see. Always welcome other miners inputs since in todays mining environment not everyone has the same situation with how they mine.

What is going on?

5 percent bonus and talk about 20 percent!

Worts ever!
How is it going to be the best pool!?

There was a lot of downtime due to issues with a particular coin causing instability in the pool. It took some time to finally identify it. Since we have removed that coin we have not had any downtime issues.

General Discussion / Re: What's happening with the price?
« on: April 10, 2015, 04:19:03 pm »
I think what you are seeing is the result of the Moonstone crowdfund in part.. there is a big sell pressure to convert to BTC.. that would impact the price pretty quick I think.

I don't buy it. They raised until now about $8000... If they raise $130000 the next couple of days I will agree with you...
But in case you are right I think the best approach from us would be to vote them in* (their 5 delegates) so the fund-raise would not be necessary ...
And if that is the case, that BTS loose so much equity on every fund-raise, why the hell we should keep BTS on our portfolio?

It wouldn't have had an impact if they accepted BTS from the start.. but they accepted BTC.. which put selling pressure on everyone who holds any BTS/Assets to convert to BTC then.

Someone says the chinese community are unloading to put money into some chinese company stock market stuff also.

Either way I don't care.. just bought more BTS today and love'en the price. :)

General Discussion / Re: Let me tell u why Chinese are dumping

Guess the Chinese companies are now at the pump and dump stage before the crash.. @onceuponatime is right.. I have not heard anything good as far as economic signals are concerned to encourage some kind of stock market buy up.. I think you are seeing a self made pump where the insiders do the dump.. and everyone else is left holding stocks worth about as much as the papers they are printed off. Companies move on.. rinse and repeat.. China wanted capitalism.. welcome to the jungle. :)

General Discussion / Re: Want to right the ship? Here's how:
« on: April 10, 2015, 03:16:45 pm »
So back to the original suggestion.. it sounds nice.. but these big companies only go where the masses are... look how long it took for them to adopt taking btc.. some of them in only really partial ways.. only once we have larger base of users will these companies seek to adopt to access that subscriber base... it's that simple.

Only smaller operators like myself will adopt it for the sake of promotion for the greater good of the community... and hopefully the community responds in kind to show a working micro-model for others to take to macro.. or just go macro on our own and pitty the fools who didn't join in the beginning. :)

it's not a bad idea for a mirror git from github to exist.. a privately hosted one.

I think I would only consider this if the exchange gives a value add of some kind.

I am certain other coins are not paying anything out to their exchange to have them hosted.. but I would submit they should have reduced fees and or no fees for trades on BTS/Assets if they are recieving a delegate.. its a win win for them.. the higher the market cap goes.. the more they are going to get from the delegate.

Question is however, what happens to this arrangement when the community decides to vote them out? We seen this happen to an existing exchange already.. do you think a exchange would be willing to risk everything on the fickle favour of the bitshares community?

General Discussion / Re: MineBitShares Delegate Support
« on: April 10, 2015, 05:38:15 am »
Well this is exciting! :)

I am honored to be taking up the mantel with MineBitShares.. I am happy to see the delegate got voted in.. but at this super early stage where we are just starting to take over operations and put together our marketing engine, I don't think I can offer much in the way of assessing what or how many additional delegates could/would be used today.

My approach is like that of any business I have started. Get it going.. make a proof of concept.. and grow it out as best you can from there.

Once we have gotten into our MineBitShares mojo and can better assess where we are and what it will take to get us further after we have started our plans.. THEN I can give more definitive numbers for people to better judge and assess for themselves the value of what each delegate in this project might mean to BitShares.

I do think it's got really huge potential.. however, I cant imagine ever getting to 8 delegates... my #1 mandate is to find ways to make this profitable on its own. With some creativity it can be done. Some who have talked to me about MineBitShares already know I have been polling for ways I can pull profits into the operation so that we won't need the delegate eventually. I could be wrong however. After we crunch the numbers and figure out everything perhaps it does take that. Without that data though, it's a really tough call.

That said, the delegate we have, and the others that are being contributed at this stage ARE ESSENTIAL to making this work. That is what is so awesome about BitShares. We can overcome the catch 22 of making this pool profitable and significantly increase the liquidity of BitShares through this project.. not to mention all the new users.

Thanks to the legendary efforts of Nethyb and the support of Bytemaster, this has proven it's concept. Now we got to grow it out thanks to the delegate (and maybe more), and make it profitable so we can take the delegate out of the business. and have a solid operation contributing users, liquidity, and market cap to BitShares.

At this early stage though.. I simply don't have enough data to even cast my own vote on how many. Give it a little time.. and then maybe I can put forth some clear information that will allow people to decide if it's worth the extra delegates.

My two btc anyways... If others would like to vote in this poll just to show how much you would like to support this you are welcome.. but I understand if you don't have enough data to make an educated selection.
