Whats goin on with the price there, $294 for 1 btc?!??

It's a really wide spread AND there's no liquidity. 
You can see the best offer to buy BTC is at 184 and the best to sell is at 210.

Keep in mind, that's not BTC/USD, it's BTC/bterUSD.  Deposits for USD into BTER are disabled, and the only way to withdraw bterUSD is EgoPay.

Basically bterUSD has very little to do with any other sort of USD.

There is almost no USD on bter.  No liquidity.

I had a hard time finding the bitUSD market on bter for some reason... I briefly thought it was missing ..
